anyone know if you can get the 4 aluminum pieces that come with a-arms without actually buying new a-arms?

Somewhere in the eariler article they said:
Neumann said it was like the two manufacturers swapped last season’s EOS form as having never had problems with their trucks flipping they were now struggling to keep it on four wheels. The German said they have tried gluing the tyre walls and cutting the outer pins off the tyres but that hasn’t made much of a difference. Describing the Losi as being heavier than the Durango he said maybe this is giving Evans an advantage and for tomorrow he said the might try adding weight to their trucks.

Congrats Dave, The Losi sure is hard to beat in the right hands.
Just got back from a TQ and Win myself Down South in MN for the Final round of the MNRC series. What a BLAST to race in 0 degree weather in a Dome.
Integy tools aren't worth there weight in metal, complete garbage. Get some Hudy one at a time if u think expensive.

Funny you say that, I think I've spent all of about $40 for my Integy hex wrenches and nut drivers, and about another $7 on replacement tips just to have.... This was about 10 years ago and have built over ten different kits with the same tips. This last Saturday, I JUST now had to dig for once of the replacement tips in the bottom of my pit bag. Not bad for under $50, ten years ago......
It's almost $200 for the equivalent nut drivers and hex wrenches, from Hudy. No thanks, I'd rather buy tires for the extra $150 spent just for a name, and some fancy mill work.
Well , there is a little more to it than a name and some fancy milling , the steel that Hudy uses is high quality and the tolerances are very tight on the tips . That said , EDS tools are on par with Hudy IMO and cost a alot less .
But the Integy set is decent as well and was my first set , got the 7 pc. smooth handle set with the TiNi coated for 29 bucks at my LHS and used them for several years till I started buying EDS . The one thing I didnt like is they are shorter than the EDS tools ....

Couple quick questions. i just got my SCTE put together and without doing any setup mods, I ran it at the local tight indoor track. The truck flew good out of the box but the damn thing just won't turn. It pushes terribly while other trucks are turning on a dime. The steering servo is plenty (savox 1258th), what setup mods can I do to get this thing to turn better?

The kit setup is meant to work well for looser outdoor tracks. For indoor clay we tend to make the truck a little more agressive. First thing would be going from 10 deg caster blocks to 0's. Where did you place the battery in the tray?

I am still using grh stock tires, thinking about switching to calibers or AKA wishbones.
The local track is clay and pretty tight so turning is at a premium. I have an assortment of diff oils coming, does 7,5,3 sound ok? Battery is placed in the middle of the tray.
