RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I just placed a big order through amain today but I didnt expect the front BBs to be in stock along with the front and rear springs so I added them to my order from my wish list. I went with AE's recommended springs, black/white so I will see how they work for my tracks.
Raced for the first time a few nights ago and it went okay, wrecked a lot. Running a tekin rs blinky, redline 13.5 with 28 or 29/72 gearing, can't remember which pinion at the moment. I never made any practice nights so I haven't had time to test and tune anything but I will this week prior to the next race.

Took the time tonight to do it right & shaved my towers down to fit the BB ...
Did not use any extra shims .
Decided having the same shock geometry as before with the old V2 was for the best ...
Very smoooth ........
You don't have to remove very much and the overall strength remains plenty much the same .....

Best for you to use the Ae set-up suggestions offered in the BB instructions for your T4 .

I have noticed 2 things about the bb's.
1st the recommended spring rates are a good bit stiffer. Why?
2nd everything (except the screws going into old holes) is metric. That's leading to believe we won't see a b4.2. I'm leaning more towards thinking AE is coming out with a b5
but it won't be out till more around worlds time
&, in addition to the hop ups we expect, the whole buggy will be metric
. That means very little backwards comparability

Just got the bb.. I only have the avid springs.
My prev setup I used Yellows all the way around with #2 pistons and 32.5/27.5 losi oil. I was thinking about using the same setup in the big bores. Any other suggestions?
