SC10 4x4 Thread
Even with their regular schedule that track takes a few days to get any traction. Completely different tires for the first day or two after the build.
Now I think about it they put that layout in about a week before the super nats and only let super nat drivers on it so it didn't have enough driving on it to bring traction up to normal for wcrc.

Then 3 days (practice/qualifiers) then 4th day Main.
That track gets good about a week into a new layout.
Yeah, could be... but there were no where close to the number of cars lapping the track compared to a normal week. If I remember correctly only super nat entrants were allowed on. Could be wrong, didn't go that week but that's what I remember.

I believe they closed the facility on Wed for the rebuilt.
Maybe different tires the first couple of days then they settled to Gold Barcodes.....

Not neccesarily.Depends on how you drive really. You need to experiment with the link yourself to see what fits your driving style.A shorter link will allow the truck to square up faster, raising it will aid in rear traction.I run the short link on tower with 3mm spacer under it and medium on hub.Myself I didn't like the long link on the tower and felt like the shorter link let me get on the power sooner exiting a corner.
the only issue I have ever had is the rear end swinging all over the place, lol. I drive conservatively and usually use off throttle and drag brake/creep to setup the truck and normally try for an outside to inside line. I rarely gun the throttle and almost never get a pull trigger pull off.
Hey Guys...
I did a search with not much luck. I'm planning on buying the FT conversion kit and looking into some saddle packs. Which packs fit well and aren't too expensive?? So far I've looked at the Gens Ace, Turnigy and few of the nicer packs on Amain.
Plus for you the did the mod, have you noticed the difference between balance and handling compared between stick and saddle packs? I'm hoping with all this eventually invested, it will help the truck as much as possible.
Thanks!
