well lately I have been playing around with the Plus4 engine...Always been an amazingly stable engine, but I always felt it lacked in the power department, especially the top end......... Anyways I have unlocked some pretty impressive performance from this little 4 port gem..... It absolutely loves being run on the 9886 Super Strong with a 41001 manifold...Makes amazing power from bottom to top and sound fabulous ...On the track it is hitting 41 000 RPM in about 120 ' , The bottom end is very stout and the engine is capable of pulling a very low stall............ Here is a quick little video I shot in the back lane while testing out a new head button cut...the engine was impressing me soo much I had to shoot some video... I had no idea it would like the 9886 like it does, tho I must say these new 9886 Super Strong seem to run a little differently then the older 9886, i could swear they make better low end power..... almost like a 2096 on steroids...
anyways here is my buggy, running a Buku clutch on stock settings, right out of the package....which is a very low stall...

Nice! My CRE BTT doesn't sound as good as that, but I'm running the 2096 pipe. Think I will bolt up the 9886/41001 soon for a quick comparison.
Neal is there a big difference on the cuts between that Pus 4 and my BTT? Sound like the button may be different.

Just arrived home from the Australian Truggy Nationals and would like to say a huge thanks to Chicky03 from Serpent America for the great advice regarding the set up of the truggy, It was awsome to drive and with the Clockwork Racing Engines modified banito the package was complete helping to make my way in the A main final of the event, Finished up 13th overall in the 15 car A Main final and was really happy with my result being the only Serpent Truggy to make the final and the only Clocked motor to make the final also.
The clocked banito made it through the 10 minute qualifier heats with out a pit stop which is all you can ask from an engine with so much power, having to run a lap to get to the rolling start and completing the 10 minutes and the extra lap back into the pits the engine was running 12 minutes on a 148ml tank, fantastic work Neal.
During the 30 minute 4th bump up final the engine was running awsome and we came in for fuel around every 8 minutes in which I placed 2nd making my way into the semi's, during the semi's 30 minute race we new in order to make the main I was going to have to cut out one of the pit stops so we pitted right on the 10 minute stops and finished 6th making it into the 15 car final and during the 60 minute A main final we ran the 10 minute pit stops as well, great work from the clocked banito through out the event.
Thanks to my sponsors, Nick & Lee at Wot Hobbies, Radiopost Australia, Nitro X Fuels and all the guys that helped out in the pits during the event.

Hi Neal
I have a Clocked P5 with a dynamite 086 pipe, is this pipe good for this engine? Also i have a RB F11 and it has a 2087 pipe, i see that you dont particulaly like the 2087 pipe so would the dynamite 086 be better on the RB for my Serpent Truggy?
I also have a GO 2072 and a pedicorite 0801 pipe lying around also.
One more thing is i run Byrons Fuel and have no access to werks fuel in New Zealand would you run 25 or 30%?
Thanks

It says P5 on the box and head.
But we know better lol!! I have a sneaky suspicion that P now stands for Pissed off. Thanks again boys.service and shipping is top notch as always. They still smell like Canadian bacon, maple syrup with a side of Greek salad....now that's fast!!!

Thanks again boys.service and shipping is top notch as always. They still smell like Canadian bacon, maple syrup with a side of Greek salad....now that's fast!!!The P7 not only goes fast ,its power delivery makes for a VERY drivable motor which equates to better lap times. There are no crazy spikes in the power curve it has a VERY 4 stoke grunty type of feel. There is no need to mash the throttle for short run up jumps. You just squeeze the trigger. The P7 is the most drivable mill I have owned/driven in a truggy. Also new still running rich on buttom and a little fat on top I made one stop in a 20 minute main at the 9.30 mark and made it to the end.My kyosho tank is also under the 150 cc mark and i dont run the fuel filter(not since the clocked b5/b6 have i been able to do this.) Can wait to see how she performs once it hits peak performance and i get a crispy race tune on it. A 10 minute truggy motor with this type of power and feel is going to be tuff to beat, in the motor market. Ultimately this motor will become the flagship mill out of the Clockwork camp if thats the direction Neal chooses to go.But for sure this is one he can hang his hat on. Keep in mind I am compairing this motor to others i have owned and driven, B5,B6,P5,fire 11, bonito, os 25, jammin .21 (did not run my +4 yet) all clocked and hands down P7 is a complete race motor.

Well, I was wrong. The P stands for progressive! First day at the track with the new PROTO 7. 8mm restrictor, dynamite 086 pipe header, buku clutch. Had some funky tuning issues to start the day.(make sure your head bolts are tight,P7 does not tune well with them loose lol!) After that she dialed right in.
