It makes me pretty proud to own an SC10 4x4

Ryan Mayfield makes me proud to drive a AE ....

The Ryan's really put in some work at these nationals. Its nice to see the sc10 4x4 finally get some recognition at a national event. I'm interested to see Maifields setup when it gets posted on RC10, as well as Cav's setup for his b4.1 since I run at that track every now and then.

Has anyone come across a vid of the 4x4 Mains yet?

i wanna say his set up is close to BK's set up but i could be wrong.. BK's set up has work great for me and my track conditions..

AE made Mayfield to run a box stock SC10 4x4.
AE had to do someting otherwise most of the scene would abandon the sc10 4x4.

I just keep asking myself, If mayfield say that everybody was wrong about this truck, why didnt AE took part with the SC10 4x4 on all major events the past year?
Mayfield and Cavalerie hardly ran the SC10 4x4. and not without a reason, because the chance of winning was to small I guess

It was just all or nothing with the sc10 4x4 + Mayfield. during the ROAR supernats

Only people leaving the Sc10 4x4 cant drive very well.
They think the truck was the reason why .


So they buy something else to solve the can't drive problem instead of using Ae set-ups ,practicing and learning how to go faster ...

Maifield won 4x4, Cav won SC10 and AE also won 17.5 SC 2wd. AE swept the nats and only missed on 8th scale, but hartson did pull out a 2nd in ebuggy. Overall, AE pretty much dominated nats.

There you go. Maifield never even really ran the truck. didnt even enter the class at hotrod hobbies. And he tq'd and won it in 2 A mains. He dominated with a truck that he never really drives. And yeah, I believe AE said run the truck, win, and say people were wrong. But just because AE wanted it done, maifield and the truck still had to get the job done.


@wc I have driven for a long time and driven a lot of cars/trucks. This truck is the hardest for mere mortals to drive. Obviously not for the pros. Most people here want it out of the box easy to drive like the losi. Plus, everyone said AE indoors and Losi outdoors. Where was the race? Indoors? I too can drive my sc104x4 much better indoors. Anyway, the truck is fine, just harder to get a handle on and I am glad AE won.

He hardly ran the truck in public.
trust me, he did put in enough hours to be confidant.

truth is this truck is to hard to drive fast and consitant for 75% of the club racers.

yeah, I did an edit before you posted that, lol. But yeah. It is hard for me to drive on my outdoor track with confidence. And yeah, I am sure he preped for nats, but then I am sure they all did.

A1 he won by 0.4s after 6mins. I'm not sure but it feels more like a mistake free defensive race.
A2 Ty made a few mistakes, rolled the truck once when he got too close, again mayfield get it so in control, I watched the race and it looks like touring car driving, no slide anywhere.
*did you see how easy Ty overtook Ryan Cav in A2?

It's some great driving, and can't wait for the setup sheet
