Some dremmel a section out of the belt guide so you can go straight into the pinion screw without needing a ball end hex driver.
Some drill a hole in the bottom of the chassis so you can get a hex driver up to the pinion screw.

Some take the motor out regardless of pinion size if they haven't figured out the above methods.
my truck is a tad slow ill get my lhs to get a vid. it has no balls. i have a 2s 30c 5000 lipo pack from a main. my losi 22 buggy with a mmp 5700 set is way faster.

you might be able to add a little timing. Just watch your temps. Are you just racing on the street?

It will be slower than a 1/10 buggy with a strong power plant.
That would probably be faster than my truck with the tenshock in it.

i had a 5700 in my b4 and it would do neer 50mph if geared that high the only way to get that kind of speed in these trucks is tekin 4600 or tenshock 4600 5200 or 3s i think the 1415 will do that on 3s and 4s
or go 1/8 motors

emulsion is a no no

hight and day but both setups worked pushes more with mip to meny thing to list but way more stable i run on a big track that is smooth try the inside holes on the arms and stand the shocks up more travel but if traction comes up you will roll this is ok if you dont over drive the truck

i drilled the hole, and countersunk it from the bottom so i just use a little 4-40 3/8" screw to fill the hole so it doesnt let dirt in through there, then just use a 3mm nut on the other side.

so gear changes take 1 more screw then normal, but really how often do you change gear
