Thanks guys. I used the dremell (sp) to grind down one of the serpent metal servo horns. I think it will work well.

Went with the Hot Bodies Aluminum horn as mentioned further back in the posts. Fits perfectly, no clearance issues.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks.

I think the plastic arm (where your finger is) is installed upside down.... Unless you just had it installed up side down in your picture (and not running on the car that way)....Quite a few guys run them upside down like you show it, (by mistake), cause when you press the front ball stud thru...for the plastic arm to end up in the correct orientation, it "has" to be pressed thru from the "smaller" holed side of the arm, and not the slightly larger tapered side...the way it should have been manufactured on that piece (IE: larger hole on the opposite side).....

not sure how big of a difference this makes running(prob not much), but when it's flipped over from the way the book shows it...it looks to exhibit more of an arcing motion to the linkage, rather than a more precise straighter motion.... Joe

Also, another option (when running aluminum servo horns) is to get rid of all the plastic shims underneath the servo anchor screws altogether (further reducing servo flex), and run your plastic arm to the "outside" of your aluminum servo horn (instead of inside)..... this setup (with most servos) will allow the arm to be aligned nice and straight... And not contact anything at all........ Joe
