Not yet.

I have some weights that I was going to use with my TC5, I can probably repurpose them for the next club race that I can attend.

Most guys are adding it to the front left if running stick packs....I'll give that a try.

If I got to race on a large outdoor 1/8 scale track, I would be racing 1/8 scale. Lol
And THAT is why I'm thinking that for 4x4 SCT, this is not the truck for our track.

It is only going to get bigger, and even though Nick does a great job keeping the traction SUPER high (on a good day, your shoes will squeek like walking across a basketball court) but it is still an outdoor track with medium to big air.....

tazers are definitely more aggressive pattern then holeshots tho which is why they most likely work, maybe try the tazers on the rear and holeshots on the front, something about combos like that work well on the sc10 outdoors.

i have tried panther raptors all the way around and it wasnt as good as with a boa in the rear, but then again boas all the way around didnt feel as good on the track.

Is anyone running or tried the Exotek chassis? Is it worth $109, what are the differences?

Yes, Keeps the truck much more planted and no more traction rolls.

Default Exotek chassis

Im running the exotek chassis with the saddle pack tray, the newer slipper pad system with exotek locked front hub. Guys at my local track thought I was running a Losi SCTE 4X4. When I showed them my setup they were amazed. So far 2guysvswitched from SCTE to the SC10 4X4 with my setup. Racing has gotten a lot more competitive now.

RC8.2....I can win races with it, and I've only been driving 8th scale nitro for 3 months.

SC104x4.....same track, same competitors, and I'm getting spanked...didn't even make the A.

RX8 w/ SC4x 5.5T
Savox 1258
Garodiscs to help with the fading AE slipper pads
Dual Stage pistons

Ran soft holeshots, which is the same tire that the top 3 guys had on their Losis....

I'll find my setup when I get home.....if anyone has any suggestions to get this thing up to the same caliber as the SC10 and RC8.2, I'd love to hear it....I really want to wipe the smile of the smug Losi drivers faces, rather than join their ranks....

I probably have 6-8 more club races before my season is done....I'd really like to podium at least one of those....
first what is happining to the truck

tri the mip ez to install and way faster than 2 stage i have both in the past 2 weeks i went from barly making a main to mid pack all most podium main change is mip and ball diff

2stage fast but hard to control mip more forgiving = more consistant laps i went from 37s best and 39s top5 to 32.5s best and 35s top5

Hey fq06, you going to be at west coast tomorrow? A group of us are heading down there to run. Not race, just run. Come on down and let's see if the "Old Man" can keep up with ya!

The center diff is something I would suggest looking into. darn near made the car night and day from what I was able to do with it.

As for tires, I really wonder if this vehicle would like different compound tires in the front versus rear, same tread all around. And I agree with what others have said about not being able to use the same tread as losi guys. May be less of an issue though if you run say an exotek chassis to up the weight.

I needed a few packs run through it after I went C-Diff to get used to it again. It was like a different truck.

You can go by someone who says the truck is good, sticks with it, wins with it , loves it & Ae ....
and what gear specifically are you saying that is aftermarket that doesn't work WC from your personal experience?

This truck does seem to like different grip patterns front to rear.

Thanks, how high is the traction on this as the 8mm mod would not be a good way to go out here since traction is so low and from what I recall, that was to help with traction rolling?
