SC10 4x4 Thread
Is the SC8.2e just about the same size at the Losi SCT? The Losi SCT sure looks like about the same size as the 1/8 scale Losi buggy. Is it just me? Been wondering this for a while. And, just about everyone at our local track is rollin the Losi as well....I still am trying to make my SC10 4x4 work too...

A friend of mine turned his old RC8T into an SC8, complete with SC8 body.....it IS bigger....not much, but noticeabley.
Now that ROAR had lifted the ban on 8th scale conversions, I honestly expect to see a lightened RC8.2e converted to fit the 10th scale specs of 4x4SCT. You know every other manufacturer is going to be doing the same thing...

I'm at the same place as you, trying one last thing next race day, if it does not work it's outa here. I'm the last guy still running this truck at out track, they all went to Losi a while back, plenty of $$$ seems to be spent on those as well tho, if only the SC10 had an oil filled center diff, I love the rest of it.

Without it being run like a flag bearing car (and I do understand they have a lot of classes to run, but still ...), it will end up as such.
And I really hate for that to happen as I like the car.

Honestly if AE does that, and I hate to say this, but regardless of what they say at the time (ex- SC104x4 is the "indoor" vehicle, RC8 based SCT outdoor big track), the SC104x4 is good as dead.

I actually enjoy my Sc104x4 and want AE to put more effort into running it competitively versus being second class citizen (for whatever reason) compared to other classes. I think it has the chops, just needs more attention.
What I am stating however about what would happen unfortunately has a glimmer of likelihood of happening. Stating that doesn't change my feelings that I like my SC104x4. Considering how often I do change vehicles, the fact that I re-bought one and still have it says a lot.
As for issues it has outdoors, post pics of your track and state its conditions. Hell, give us your setup.
Guys like MantisWorx have reported issues on specific conditions that probably were not factored in to the design of the vehicle, and he is no scrub. Are those the conditions you are running in? If not, saying its "on rails" means little if its not the conditions you run in.
My other vehicle is on rails too, though, its setup would mean little on your track as its a train.
