does anyones truck buck over jumps ass high ? it seems no matter how i hit the jump or tune the truck this is always a problem.

im guessing its the drag in the belt drive. has anyone tried a little roll in the truck to help this or have any more input ?

it is mostly how you jump the truck. stay on the gas longer to keep the nose up.

I noticed that issue when I was running the truck initially with the softer rear springs back when I first got it, and I noticed it when I had the heavier Blue fronts. When I changed to white fronts on the rear, she jumped nose level to nose slightly nose down which for the large jump I was clearing worked great.

How I approached the jump mattered too, if I was just coasting at speed and hit it, it would go tail high.

Got in my M2C toe in blocks as well as some new tires to try. Will report on how it goes, may head out to a close by unfinished track and see.

Truck loves money going into it, but, its a blast to drive LOL.

I went ahead and ordered the rtr version with the free factory upgrade kit. I will upgrade parts as they wear out or break. I will mostly race in the backyard against my son running the slash 4x4. Someday we might go out to the local track. Right now my son races a mini sprint car on saturday nights which is the same night the local RC track races on. Maybe in the off season of the mini sprint we might go rc racing.

Coming from nitro I'm not used to the drag of the electric motor so I run 15 push on the rx8. Helps keep it mpre level in flight and does not come to a stop (exaggeration) in tight turns.

Those used to e power have their finger trained to hold more throttle, mines still a dumb uneducated nitro finger

I dont have "push" on my esc, but I also moved my trims forward a little to oppose the drag.

I noticed this two when I switched from Blue/FWhite to Yellow/FBlue
However my truck has 70g of weight up front so.........
There's only 1 big jump at my track and most people double it so I don't loose that much time if I don't triple it. Need a bigger motor anyways.

Bye guys. My SC10 4x4 is getting retired.

Took my SC10 2wd to a TQ and a 3rd place finish, and won my race with my RC8.2 by 3 laps over 2nd place (and I've only been driving 8th scale for 3 months)....couldn't even bump up out of the B-main with the SC104x4, and it's the vehicle that I have put the most time, effort, care, testing, tuning, and love into. I've had it since the very first pre-orders came in....sad to see it go.

I really wanted to make it work...to make the guys that switched to Losi eat their words....but if I can drive my other 2 racers that well, compared to many of the same drivers, the SC104x4 was outclassed in every area of the track except the whoops section and the dragon's back.

Maybe I just need a break from 4wd SCT in general.... focus on buggy for the rest of this season....

Default FAN is ON !!

Could'nt be possible ....

I still love my Sc104x4 & baby O baby is it fun to drive.

Ready for any backyard , indoor or outdoor . Got mountains for jumps ? kool !

Trucks rear end is not stuck down but its perfect.

Will slide just right ...

Can tuck in on any driver and not just some bucky from Cali Valley...

Evil , the ft spring on the rear are too stiff , believe me .

They do very little for how the truck handles jumps ...

Take a tip from someone who knows ...

I'm at the same place as you, trying one last thing next race day, if it does not work it's outa here. I'm the last guy still running this truck at out track, they all went to Losi a while back, plenty of $$$ seems to be spent on those as well tho, if only the SC10 had an oil filled center diff, I love the rest of it.

Is the SC8.2e just about the same size at the Losi SCT? The Losi SCT sure looks like about the same size as the 1/8 scale Losi buggy. Is it just me? Been wondering this for a while. And, just about everyone at our local track is rollin the Losi as well....I still am trying to make my SC10 4x4 work too...

It seems the V2 C diff package is around $4 more expensive than buying the parts separately?
am I missing anything?
