I have just bought Losi 20-45wt.
I think that 35 and 45wt will be to thick.
I am going to 30wt in rear from 27.5 and 40 in front from 35wt hope that works perfet for me. I have a pretty good start point setup there are working for me.
This car is great!:-)

Out of curiosity, does anyone here turn down their ESC's any, or throttle settings on your radio, to kind of 'tame' the initial punch/bottom-end of your eBuggy? I ran mine this weekend at 85% throttle EPA and found myself driving a little more consistently around the track.. (controlling the power better, from each lap to another)

Absolutely. I use punch control and dial back throttle end point when needed to match the track. Most of the tracks we run are too tight and too slick to make use of all the power available.

Yes. I am using a xerun 150a in my Serpent 811 BE.
I have turned punch level down to level 1 or 2 so it is easiere to drive.

I put my throttle expo to -15% and it really helped to tame down the initial punch

Does anyone know a good default setup for the 811e as far as shock oil, diff oil, ect? I don't have a job because I'm too young so I have to wait for allowance from parents. And that means I won't be able to by the spring tuning kit from serpent. I've only had the buggy for a while and when I drove it the first couple of times it was really good on one track but bad on another, traction wise. I was using the correct tires for both tracks, one loose, bumpy and large. The other small, technical, medium bite, and smooth. Due to mixed weather conditions I have to change from the outdoor/ large track to the indoor/ tight track, so I need a setup that's in between. I can't find anything online about a neutral setup. Ill be entering races soon. Any help would be great.

You can try mine from a couple pages back. The car was very neutral and extremely easy to drive.

It would be very helpful If you guys could put a video of your track when you talk about it. Because we don't have the same reference point as a small or large track, so having a video (so easy nowadays) would really help. Bumpy track and rough track well having a car running on it would help too.

And it's always fun to watch !!

Hey guys, just a lurker here (until I decide which buggy I'm going with) but I wanted to throw out there that this past weekend I watched a Losi SCTE get the holeshot on a group of SCT's that had more power, but he had his Current Limiter on his RX8 set to 30%. I'm running mine at 65% but I'm going to start playing around with this setting more and see the results.

Ok, I remember seeing your setup. I'll give it a try. I'm going to track in connecticut and their strictly only racing sc trucks but so looks like I'll have to wait until next weekend to give this snake another spin.

I went down to -20% EPA throttle as well.. much easier to control with my very happy throttle finger

I can still get full juice if I want, it's just much later in the throttle curve... feels more like my nitro now... after all, this isn't your 1/10 scale "punch and go" style.

Default Ride height

Well I'm new to this buggy. Actually received a perfect buggy
I have one question.
Ride height
My rear is higher than the front. Is that correct. Cuz I'm used to be level front and rear.

My 811E is pretty much stock in terms of hop ups, i think the previous owner used metal bolts over the plastic ones and changed the servo saver spring to the softer one. Also has diff oils 5k, 7k, 3k (F, M, R) and shock oils 45wt and 40wt (F, R).

My driving style doesnt use any drag brake, and usually pump the throttle before a jump.

At my local track (Slough, UK) the car seems to nose dive after a jump, so after speaking to another owner this is the plan:

Front Spring: Green
Rear Spring: Yellow

Front Shock oil: 40wt
Rear Shock oil: 30wt

Diff oils 5k, 5k, 3k (F, M, R)

Ive seen a lot of people change the pistons, how much difference can that make from stock? They seem quite expensive.

Anything else i should do? Ive tried to setup the car similar to Porkchops base setups posted around page 100 otherwise.
