What kind of gearing do you think for a 17.5? Usually high grip, but no one knows until today... I'm currently geared 31/69 and around 139* after a 6min qualifier.

Also what kind of conditions would you want to run a shorty?

lol, just get the rpm ends, lol. You can even get a pretty color. Cars that are pretty go faster.

Nah white is fastest because it reflect light so it doesn't adsorb the heat waves as bad as yellow.. So it will reflect the light on to your tires and heat them up, so you will get more traction.

haha

lol, my old body was yellow and red. So I got yellow ones. This new body is white and orange, so I might get white cups. I firmly believe the cups need to match the paint, lol.

I might try to borrow a shortie this weekend and see how I like it. What is the optimal position? Middle? 2 foams front and 2 foams rear? Running on an outdoor 8th scale track that is rutted from the rain.

Iknow there a many differant ways to position the shorty pack, I have noticed that Hartson runs 1 1/2 foam behind the pack and fills tj front with foam until the gap is closed. This is how I run mine as well.
