SC10 4x4 Thread
I started using the overdrive pulley and noticed this behavior, so I adjusted my driving just a tiny bit.
Brake hard for corner entry, before turning in too much
Feather the throttle early to mid corner
Hammer down out of the corner!
If your ESC has a push control, you can use that to help a little bit.
Something I'm going to try during practice for the Novarossi Challenge this weekend is to set my throttle trim so that neutral is actually giving me about 15-20% throttle. I can still stop the truck with the brakes and hold it there, and when I let off the throttle for a corner, it will help pull the truck through without spinning the back end around.
Not saying these are the best answers, but it's something easy enough to try! No new equipment necessary.

When I last tested, I decided the fast way with the Exotek locker is if the truck starts to get sideways, point it in the general direction you'd like to go and nail the gas.
Then decide why the truck got loose. In my case, the chassis was bottoming out on something I would never bottom out on because I couldn't get enough power down.

Hey peeps, thought this might be the best place to ask.. Just got my new SC10 4x4 RTR out of the box.. I'm liking it so far however the shocks are way to stiff.. it'll bounce around just driving it on the front yard, yes I'm aware this is setup for smooth surface racing however I'm going to be using this mainly as a basher so I was wondering what shock oil you guys would recommend putting in it? 20-30wt?
Cheers,
Luis
