If you put the travel limits down on the shock eyelet end of the shaft and then put the spring cup on top with the tabs line up with the spring cup it moves the spring cup up giving you back some range on your ride height adjustment.

So what bodies are everyone using? I am having an issue with my rear being too lite from too much air under the body, all of my inserts and then some are cut out.

I am running the exotch locker, with vts garo pads, revtech 3800, and I just cant keep my rear tires planted, for the most part the truck has ok rear traction but in situations like high speed sweepers I spin out even nursing the throttle.

Track is here: Here

Are you using the 8mm mod and stiffer spring in the rear? What is your rear camber configuration and how much negative camber are you running?

I ended up with 7k front diff oil 5k rear.
35 wt front and 30 wt rear oil.
8mm mod with 7mm inside
5 mm under the front stud. middle top on shocks and bottoms outside.
Short links front and rear. Yes I went short in the rear with the 8mm mod.
24 mm front and rear ride height.
Yellow sway/yellow spring front
blue sway and blue front springs in the rear.
550 2 pole tekin motor
Brushless hobbies esc no boost or timing.
14/62 gearing
Stick pack
no brace
sniper m3 tires all around.
1oz on each side and in front of the servo.aka like BK.
Motor 145 deg
Esc 110 deg
battery 95 deg
after 11 minutes of running on wet clay.

It drove well. I dont see how I could ever get it to push aside from maybe using a less grip front tire. The exotec definitely worked, lol. I was ballooning the front tires on the straight and the rear stayed flat. Point is, I could lay into the gas on loose or wet and it would go straight, that is new. It still does not drive like i want it to, but it may because I am used to 2wd buggy and stadium truck and these SCT's just driver different. I will try to get the fast guy who has a sc10 4x4 to drive it this weekend. A few guys around my skill level thought it drove really nice. I just gave them confused looks. Maybe i just expect too much, lol.
How exactly did you test? There was such a slight difference for me that I deem my test inconclusive. I will spend a whole day at the track goin back an forth comparing lap times. I plan on swapping several times. Just like science... You need more samples to really determine if your data is valid. I plan on trying again. Because it was not as significant for me as you claim. I'm indoor tight clay tho....

ah, here was my test. I didnt not have to constantly correct my steering to make it go straight on power. It didnt not feel like it was skidding around under power. I had more confidence that i could apply power and roll the dice as to the outcome. I am running on a loose outdoor track. I loosened the vts to nut flush, then tightened it to where I liked the feel. I have an indoor tight track here, but have not run on it yet. Since, I really dont enjoy going there, I mainly wanted to make it run on an outdoor track. I never really had that much of an issue on indoor high bite. But that is why people say AE inside and Losi outside. because the AE performs well indoors. Which is where most national races are held. Same was true back in the day with the xxx and the b3. XXX = blue groove beast. AE = outdoor. awesomeness.

For me it is all about confidence. I need to feel confident that the truck will do what I want it to. My goal is not 1st place. It is to drive a truck/car that does what I want it to. For a while this truck did nothing i wanted to. Didn't square up, jumped for crap, would not go straight and only cornered if you stayed on the gas. It is a lot better now thanks to the people on this thread. And I feel like i have done all i can to make this thing drivable. I consider my truck drivable, not the best thing since sliced bread. Like i said, I will get the fast guy to try my truck and get his feedback, but I am 99% sure, he will tell me to buy new tires. because that is what everyone always tells me.
