yeah, the 22's kinda glide around the track here. It outdoor, so kinda bumpy. not too bad. getting worst with rain lately. Anyway, I dont know if the 22 is what makes them glide across the track or the shocks. I probably need to spend some time with my buggy getting the setup right. But my darn sc10 4x4 takes up all of my time..... grrrrr.

the shorties make the car more nimble right? that is the whole purpose?

My main problem with switching over to Losi is parts, they are harder to get than AE.

I Thought about switching my sons B4.1 to a T4.1 chassis and see how it feels. It would make it about as long as the 22.

The 22 parts sure look a lot stronger though.

Yes because it gives you more tuning options of either having more weight in the front, middle, or rear......It's also lighter then stick packs which some people like as well.........

The truck chassis is a what +12? Yeah, I dont have the +8 either, that would probably calm the buggy down on a more uneven track.

The lighter thing confuses me. because we all add weight. I mean does anyone run no lead and shorties? I would assume for outdoor racing, lighter may not be the best. Might be hard to get power down. For indoor high bite, It might be nice to help the buggy rotate though. But I see what you mean for tuning options.

The use of shorties are used at my track on other rc's 22T, 22B, T4 etc.... So the weight option would come in to play more for the losi's I think since they are a little bit heavier.......

If I recall. Humpty runs the Weight Ballist and a shortie.. that's it. no other weight added.

I think the biggest hurdle is going to be width, not length/wheelbase.

I think there will be several hurdles. If there weren't, I'd have turned up a ton of examples on my Google searches. So far, it's a nothing sandwich.

If the body is a little too narrow, I could brace it internally to be wider - could probably get 20-30mm without any trouble, and I doubt you'd notice it unless you were really looking hard (plus the body would look even cooler being more "squat"). Length doesn't seem too bad either (that is, until I crash one time and destroy everything) - but the wheels have to fit (vertically and front to back) inside the wheel wells. I don't want to cut stupid-looking massive wells out just to make it work..

I was also thinking the SC10 body mounts/posts should be able to go on there without a ton of difficulty. Those parts can be had for cheap, so I can do some experimentation there.
