brent - interesting that the truck was **&^* FAST.., but you had buggy concerns - seems like something in the esc set up was off.
I see a guy using a Viper 13.5 running his B4.1 in mod against factory drivers using 8.5 and 9.5 turning the same lap times. Depends on set up and driving style.

So, with the ridiculously large pinions people tend to run, what are you using for motor screws? Button head, cap (too tall usually), flat/CS w/washers? On my kids' Rusty, I use TRA3931 wide head "pan" style screws. They're 3x8, so a little long, but the head is huge for good holding power. Just looking for other options, as I need to get something today.
i use these, they've fit with no issues even w/ a 35T pinion

Yeah, people have said the same to me about the durango. I like the b4. But it is like being married, sometimes I look at the other cars in lust... lol. I have had my b4 for 8 years now. Maybe I just need to take the old girl in for surgery and get her some +8 to make her sexy.

I use regular button head screws.
I also Want to thank everyone on here for all of the help and I now have a great setup for our track after some testing and things I have found to work on our track for the different conditions.
TQed and Won for the first time in a single night
I'll post my full setup right after I clean up the car and get it into a setup sheet form

Any tried the losi BB shocks on the B4? If so how did you like them? And which bodies and shafts did you use? 22 buggy shocks? I know AE is coming out with some soon.....no idea what soon means though, lol.
I've seen one of the stock fast guys at my track run em and he does well, but at the same time he does well with any damn car lol. He says he love em matter of fact he use to run the 22 but swithed back to ae and ran the shocks on the b4.1
Given the absence of replies, I might just have to figure this out on my own... I know TheJANG isn't reachable - too bad since he's always doing great custom rides.

Yes it was *&(*&% FAST
Maybe The Viper in Profile 1 di dnot match how I drive. I called Eric and used FB to get help.. none of it worked. I tested the ESC by running the Buggy for 5 mins per Eric's changes than again per FB's changes, 205 in 5 mins.
Switched ESC's changed nothing and temp dropped to 185 after 5 mins.
Funny How I PM'd you this and never got anything back but you will post stuff on here.
anywho.
To a question asked above about the 22
I have not owned one but got to drive one around wed night. IT felt good. It was fast handled good ( Had wheelers setup) it had a crap load of steering which made me lose the rear end. but man those BB shocks feel nice.
AE needs to get the ball going and release those already. I am about to get some Kyosho's instead
