SC10 4x4 Thread
haha
how was the track with the sct? when i ran it a couple weeks ago, (first fun on the new layout) the truck had zero traction running my clay tires.. and the lanes seemed super narrow.. not really sct friendly.
The transmitter steering pot is hosed (won't hold trim within 20 degrees of center about every third or fourth lap, new 4PKS on the way), and I was totally sleep deprived and didn't realize it until about 20 seconds into the main where it occurred to me I was having trouble seeing. Frankly, it was really difficult driving home.
Oh, trust me - I'm not! The track was super greasy in practice and I only have limited tires for those conditions because I ran it outdoor on Saturday and wasted my only set of 3D's and Double Dee fronts with the proper inserts.
set of Bar Codes worn bald after 1 club race .
I have 3 weekend on my m4 Proline Snipers. Soft, wet clay ftw..... Good traction and tires last /love
I guess when I was asking for setup advise, I could have linked the track i run on...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnYJgfZgIZo

I practice & club race mostly on worn out tires just because of the wear .
In practice can barley keep pace with a rookie with new threads ....
Makes me a way stronger & faster driver then most expect ....
to give you idea how slick it is for me ?
from dead stop
1/4 throttle & sharp left = slow donuts......
a dusty smooth concrete pit floor has same grip ...

Yeah, I never saw them on JC's website, so I wondered. Yeah, I think a lot of the guys here run DD'd green for SC 4x4. I should really buy some.....
For buggy, I really prefer ribs. I find them consistent.

Hey sorry I know this has probably been covered somewhere in this thread but I can't find it or remember but is it ok to run the 19 front pulley with the v2 center diff or should I run the 20. Thanks
I tried the 19t pully and it didnt work well. My tensioners were bottomed out, but the belt was still loose. And it caused my belt to skip on acceleration and heavy braking. I would stick with the 20/20 pulleys. I am also beginning to think my belt stretched. Has anyone noticed this? Even with the 20's I am almost bottomed out.
