What exactly is the 8mm mod?

Is that just using the carbon b4.1 hub extensions on the rear hubs?

yes and most are using 6mm-7mm on the inner ballstud with this mod too, so you need a pair of 12mm ballstuds also

Does anyone know if BK ever posts his setups anywhere? Someone once told me he does not post them , because they are crazy complicated. And can often be seen using self customized parts.

He does have a ton of custom stuff on his kits, I saw some diagrams floating around for his sc10 2wd sway bars, but didn't inquire on the 4x4. If he posted a setup it would have to include a 4 page supplementary guide.

I need to move my receiver away from my esc. there seems to be an interference issue. I know some people said drill a hole and CA an antennae in... yeah, kinda ghetto for me. I am looking for a mount that I can use and make a clean install with. I will probably mount it on the left front of the chassis. There is a screw hole there that looks like it is counter sunk and ready to go. I have seen a few people mount it there, but was never sure who made the mount. I could also use this one, I would just need to mark and drill 3 holes.

Looking for a few ideas here.

Brass chassis weighs, off a tc6 I think.

When I ran a 550 motor, I ran 1 1/2 oz of tungsten in the same spot.
