..But if your hearts set on one..the first hop up would be the RC Shox center diff..and raising the rear camber 8mm..
Don't listen to him, if you want to buy the FT SC10 then go for it..............
There is alot of great info. on this thread if you search, however some great hopups are:
Tires, tires, tires (for the track your running at if you race)
Exotek Inner hub if you stick with the FT stock slipper setup
RCshox center diff if you plan on switching out from using slipper pads
RCshox 2 stage pistons
Shims for the diff's as well as ballstud mod
Camber mod
Other then that your good to go, you can upgrade as you go and dial in the sct......

Like ilanstylz said, don't listen to the feisty little kitten Oasis, he's been pretty out of shape for a while now.
If you're truly interested in the truck, go for it. There are a lot of great 4x's out there, this one is a great one. One of the things that I have really enjoyed is doing some of the mods that our fellow sc10 4x4 drivers have come up with. If you're not into that, it's still a very fun truck. As its been mentioned before, attempt to use the search function and if it doesn't produce the info your looking for, feel free to ask. There are a lot of very helpful drivers that are more than willing to share what their doing with their rigs that are producing promising performance gains.
Oh, and welcome to the sc10 4x group!

Seriously this truck is a solid platform to race with, it does take some tuning but honestly most of the hard work has already been done. Take what others have learned and apply it to your truck, then tune to suit your track and driving style and have fun racing something that turns.

yup.. i even went down to 23 all around.. i asked this guy steven hartsen.. ae driver and he said 27 all around
he's pretty dialed guy so i listen to him.. but when i drove the car it seemed like it was dancing all over the place.. so i went back to 24 all around it was fixed.. i think his set up was a bit different from mine.. preference maybe..

I've got the Losi ride height gauge and have a hard time getting it under the front and rear bumpers. Should i measure from a different angle? Any suggestions?

I do, but I don't have a lot of track time with them yet. I can tell you I like them much better than the FT stock setup. I know Marcus will say use the bladders, but I don't like the bladder setup.

What would be a good starting point for oil I run on a med. size high bite indoor clay track?
Seriously if you have nothing to contribute other than coming in here once or twice a week and saying how bad this truck is then just dont come in here anymore. Your post are useless and we all know how you feel about it already so what are you accomplishing? Should I go in the Losi thread and tell people they shouldnt buy it all the time because I like this truck better?

..and your saying the RC Shox V2 center diff isn't a solid bit of hop up advice or raising the rear inside ball stud 8mm..I thought the RC Shox center diff made a HUGE difference and I would recommend it to anyone..and when someone put a
at the end of their post it's meant as humor..and with that said if I hated the SC10 as much as you think why do I have 2 of them?
