SC10 4x4 Thread
Thinking off selling my SC10 4x4, I want to try a different class and can only afford one car at a time
. Has the following:
Custom saddle pack conversion
Custom chassis brace
8mm mod
RCShox 2-stage pistons
RCshox V2 Center diff
Trackstar O-rings
Sway Bars
Aluminum hexes
RPM Front Arms
STRC Aluminum belt tensioners
A bunch of extras and brand new avid hub bearings.
Diffs correctly shimmed
2 sets of wheels
2 sets of mounted AKA city blocks (one 60%, the other brand new)
2 beat up bodies
2 slightly puffed (still balance and work perfectly) Gens Ace 6000mah 25C saddles
Any idea how much I could get?
Thanks! Hopefully I can stay but I want to try something else with a wing lol.

Ya right! I think the new DESC410 V2 comes with a wing
Is that why you've been lurking on the Rango forum
I race at Westcoast Raceway, which is 100% clay, med-high traction, indoor track. Exotek doesn't make a front system. I'm using the VTS Slipper w/Garodiscs from Marcus along with the Exotoek Inner Hubs. The Exotek inner hub removes the inner disc with a solid plate. Truck feels like the pin mod, lots of rear traction. I'm digging it right now.
Grouchman got it right on the dot, the exotek is only installed on the inner part of the spur with the vts going on the outside. I had great success with the v1 diff and for some reason I kept having issues with my v2, now I know its all on me because I probably didn't install it right. However with the setup I am currently running on an indoor small clay track it seems to working just as good if not better then my v1 diff. If I keep my center diff I may just install it and try it once again and compare it with my current setup but I can honestly say what I'm running now is working out great.......
Cool! Hey thanks guys for the replies and sharing the info!
Hey, this is what they are talking about:

Edit: Just went to purchase one myself and I'm not smart enough to figure out how to buy one. I notice "Exotek" is on vacation . . . I guess I'll get it sorted when "they" get back.

limits uptravel, so that the cvd/cva doesnt mess up the out drives.
i use fuel tube so its not as solid too, which is pretty trick because you can get it in like any color at a hobby shop, and normally like $2/foot, some places might give you 2" too heh
The arms can still bend or flex on hard landings making it possible to bend CVA even with the external limiters installed .
cameron
