after watchin it again a few times i can see what your saying you are on its limits it just seems so laidback and in cruise control
on your opinion out of a stock roma and stock bonito which would be better and more fun id really like to get a clocked one but they are just out of my budget for a car thats just going to be played with im pushing it to spend 300-350 as it is not serious about racing truggy, buggy is my dedicated race class just to much effort/money and time to run two committed race classes in the one day

Pete's Clocked Bonito...this engine is in its prime and is absolutely sick.....unfortunately I ran out of memory during the run, so i did not get as much footage as I would have liked.........But in the end these Bonitos are awesome engines... the track was like glue and this Bonito pulled with such ferocity, it was awesome to watch

Thumbs up I need me some Unobtanium

Neal that Proto 7 and Bonito sound pretty similar (aka AWESOME!). What differences in performance have you noticed between the 2?

The Proto 7 is smoother with less blossom in the powerband...both are very similar in the bottom end with awesome amounts of grunt, but the Bonito has a little more kick right off the bottom as it enters the midrange....The Proto has no blossom and pulls extremely linear all the way thru the powerband......I would say the proto would make an awesome buggy engine as its power delivery is very flat, similar to a plus4 BTT, but of course with a much higher dose of HP.....Obviously it pulls a truggy with no issue as it does make a pile of power, but its dead flat powercurve would make it very manageable in a Buggy...... Another thing is it revs to the moon......In the end they are both quite comparable, the Bonito is a little more ballsy, but the Proto is right there but with a fair bit smoother delivery

I will not be running the dyno till winter after the track closes.... We are making some changes and adding some cool new hardware to the dyno, and we just will not have the time to finish the project till fall time.....I wish I had more time as I would love to have it running right now, but unfortunately I Am too busy to put any time into it right now......
