I need help choosing between the P5 and Plus-4t for my buggy. I might sometimes run it in my truggy but mainly in the buggy I'm looking more for run time. If anybody that is currently running these two can give feedback I will appreciate it.

they both will power a truggy with no issue...the P5 will have a little more power, but the Clocked Plus4 is right there as well.........Both engines are very good....

Like Neal said, they are both great motors. I haven't personally run a Clocked P5, but I have seen a few run and they really impressed me. I do have a Clocked Plus-4T that I have run many times, and it is very reliable and has great power and runtime. I was able to get right around 10 1/2 minutes with the Clocked 4T in my buggy, running the 41029/9901ss combination. In my truggy with the same setup, I could easily get 11-11 1/2 minutes on a tank. I really liked the feel and the mileage that the Plus-4T provided. But just as Neal said, the P5 will provide a little more power. Hope this helps you out a little in your decision.

Payday tomorrow. After watching countless videos on youtube and reading this forum, I think I'm going to go with the Clockworks P5 for the buggy. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've seen no stock engine can hang with that thing!!!!!! Looking forward to running these engines.

Hey Neal. I think I got the clocked Nova 28 in my truggy tamed.

Started out with a standard 13 tooth clutch bell on my Kyosho ST_RR truggy with a JP3 pipe. It was an absolute animal. Worried I would strip all my gears.

Worked my way up to a 16 tooth. The truggy is now very driveable. Still great bottom and good top end.

Next I put on the 9886/42001 pipe/manifold. Significant difference. The engine is an animal in all areas (top end was endless). Practiced at Fear Farm today, on a non watered, dusty track. Was able to get over jumps that I normally could not under these track conditions. The icing on the cake was I was running a fat bottom end (engine temp only 210) and I got around 9:30 minutes on a tank. Good track conditions, leaner bottom end, I'm sure I'm good for over 10 minutes.

I was wearing my Go Pro camera.

I can totally relate to the getting old thing!

Yup that's a nice big ole track. Can't wait to see what the Nitro Challenge in Feb. will be layout wise. Pretty surprised that most of the NC layout is still on that layout. Racers down there are pretty lucky this time of year for sure

By the time June comes around (warm enough to come back to Kentucky from AZ!) you will be at a huge disadvantage!

1) Got my hearing aids already (can hear the tune of my car now)
2) Getting my eyes laser-ed this winter so I can see my car.
3) Probably have a TKI6 by then.
4) I get to practice all winter
5) AND the major reason I'm going to kick your ass is "YOUR NOT CLOCKED"

Take care Syd and please change your RCTech name. It must be embarrassing to never truly get away from those Losi's!!!!!!!!!!!!
