Definitely get a starter box now, and the B2 or Fusion X3 or something cheap but good now. I'd skip the Hyper altogether..

If you go with the B2 pick up an Associated 2035 pipe set. They are low cost and will are a good compromise for price/performance with our engines. You should be able to pick up one of those for around $35. If you stay in the hobby you are going to need to get a starter box anyways so I would not advise you to go the route of the pull start engine. Also to be frank I think that they are a pain in the behind to start and you are only going to get pissed off trying to learn to tune having to yank on that cord all the time to try and start it. Get a good quality low cost engine like our B2 or the Fusion X3, a starter box and take your time and learn how to tune.

id have to agree. why spend 120 on a motor when you can have a good quality motor for only 40 more. your gonna eventually need the starter box no matter what if your interested in racing.

Werks B2 or Fusion X3, I would go with the Fusion only because I have had an excellent experience with Novarossi built engines. I have heard excellent things about the Werks B2 however.
