SC10 4x4 Thread
True, but I also let people run my packs if they want to try before they buy. Never hurts to let someone feel the difference first hand. Running a slipper last year my truck would pull a wheelie going down the straight. Tested a Venom pack of the same "C" rating and no wheelie. Not sure about the math but I could see and feel the difference.

A wheelie with 4wd? That's nothing. I run Nano-techs and my truck is so powerful I can make it go on it's lid! Even on the straight.
Joking aside, well put by Kellogg; seeing and feeling the difference will always be the most convincing way to sell.

Ran my truck at the new/large outdoor track in my area. Running the v2 center diff w/ 4 pins and 2 stage pistons had my truck running real nice. I had tons of traction, off the corners and in the bumps.
Looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow.... w/ my 8mm mod......

If your looking for high quality packs and are willing to part with a little extra cash, check out High Velocity. Jon's batt's are awesome. I have a 2S 6000mah 60C stick pack and it's the best battery I own. Better than my $130 Racers Edge equivalent. He also has Shorty's and Saddles:

Highly recommend. I will be ordering some more myself soon. He graphs each battery before sending it out, so you know you're getting a quality battery.

I am going to try some Nano-Techs and see how they stack up...They are just about the same price so I think it is between those two for a lot of people. Now if they just came off backorder in the USA warehouse we would be set.
Good news and bad news, the good news is that my sc10 4x4 is now back up and operational. I installed my Brushless Hobbies 120a esc and its working perfectly with no glitching/brownouts at all. The bad news is the issue I was having was from my RX8, I guess the internal bec/cap got messed up from all the dirt and grime that got inside of it. Hopefully everything will be covered under warranty and since it just arrived at tekin today I should be getting it back sometime next week depending on the fix/replacement etc............
Anyone running the brushless hobbies with a tekin pro4 or similar motor that can give me some tips on esc settings etc? Thanks
