After I ran out of my fuel racing at Medina last weekend, I had to use some cheap azz XXX brand fuel in the main, and low and behold, my Bonito blew to pieces! Thanks to Neal, there is a package from CRE waiting on the front porch for me, so the Truggy rides this weekend!
Thanks Neal!

Hey guys, are any of you Clocked drivers racing at any bigger events this month? When and where? Anything we can watch on LiveRC? I check it periodically, but often end up staring at a webcam of a dark room....

Just got home from my first race with my CRE P5 with the Buku clutch at FHF, round 2 of the MN Serries.
Friday practice went well, only had about 95% tune on the motor running Werks fuel waitIng for it to drop its nuts. Saturday was quali day. Round one the motor dropped its nuts mid threw and went a bit rich but I was still able to put together a good qualifier. Round 2 went great with the now fully broke in mill. It did work on the entire track, enabling me to Drive with patience knowing I have motor on tap. Round 3 was ok, it seemed I hit every hole on the overly rough track surface so that was my through out. In the end I was seated 6 in the A Main with only chassis sponcered drivers ahead of me.
After the quallies were done the skys opened up. The hard wind colasped our EZ up. I had everything but my buggy packed up so it got wet. I dried it off right after and put it inside the warm camper. Being completely soaked I decided to head home and finish my pre-main maintence on sunday.
Sunday was the mains. I went threw the buggy, all the bearings and cvds were still smooth. Come A main warm up on my way to the stand I lost steering. Turns out there alittle water got in the servo so when I turned it on it shorted out. With no time to swap servos I had to sit out the main.
I am really bummed I didn't race the main. The light rain all Sunday morning made the track really rough and tricky. I was looking forward to try and beat some of the team drivers.
I would like to thank Neal and John for everything they have done. This motor perfectly fits my driving style. I can't wait till round 3 on June 16 to redeem my DNS.
Action shot thanks to Rex Welch of RW Mods.

We have been busy busy LOL !
I did get a chance to run the Roma on Friday night in my 811T..... Its friggen amazing to say the least.........I have it tuned quite rich, but its already massively powerful... I have it geared up 2 teeth to a 15th bell, I decided to try running a Buku composite with the stall set very low, nearly down to idle......And the engine pulls it like nothing...I can even make the triple that I could never make before, and not only could I make it, I could make it quite effortlessly... Tho I may need to work more on my aim, the engine pulled that triple like it was its job......... Down the straight its a rocket with a 15th...Our straight is 180' and I feel this car would pull for at least another 100'..It gobbles up the straight so quickly you do not get a chance to really wind it out, in fact the ground speed was so much I was letting off halfway down the straight just so I could make the corner at the end of it.... fuel mileage seemed mediocre , but I have the tune set quite rich still......However I do not think this is a engine to buy if fuel mileage is your main goal.....You buy a .25 to get that grunt you just cant get from a .21...... And let me tell you, this Clocked Roma has some serious grunt... it pulls a low stalled 15th bell with authority, almost effortless power really............ I wouldn't say its overly smooth, as it just has too much power to be smooth, but it is very linear and predictable in how it delivers its power, and it is by no means difficult to drive, in fact I felt it was actually very easy to drive....It does everything effortlessly ......But I did have to keep mind on my throttle finger, if I got too aggressive it would twist the truggy out of shape pretty quickly............But then again this is a Clocked Roma .25 and I would expect no less.......... All in all one of my favortie truggy engines to date.... Massive amounts of 4 stroke like grunt, and some serious whallop on the topside.... With the 15th bell the truggy is ballistic on top...

First time out with a P5 today....had the Mad Scientist himself tune it in for me...holy-oh-my-effing-WOW!! I always thought we had a pretty long straight...the P5 had fantastic low end and was still accellerating just as hard by the time I had to slam on the brakes. I think it would pull just as hard all the way to the end of a straight that was twice as long!
I'm still grinning ear to ear! Thanks Neal!

Yes he was there. He qualified right infront of me i believe. Marshall is a blast. Great guy he will help out anyone regardless of the brand they run. He chose to sit out the buggy A main due to the light rain/wet track, so he announced the race instead. It was quite interesting listening to him give his twist to the race. And to try and make him laugh on mic.
