I can't speak for either side, but I have talked with NorCal (my local track as well) and was told they already have a Tekno account and expect to continue carrying Tekno items, including the new stuff.

Best bet here is to ask Tekno for general part availability expectation.

Then ask your local shop(s) individually how well they expect to stock parts for the new buggy, as this will let them gauge interest and figure out the use of inventory space/investment for the new items.

I like the price, but I'm anti hand over 500 bones when a ship date is still unknown and could be subject to delays of lets me honest, weeks or months.

I'd rather place my business somewhere that will either preauth and only bill upon shipping or will take a ~20% ish deposit to hold a place in line.

You can preorder at amain and they don't charge you anything until the kit comes in and you check out.

Soon, they aren't quite as fast as some of the other shops when it comes to listing new vehicles that aren't Traxxas or HPI. So they are adding items at their earliest convenience.

Are you saying your V4 kits aren't good Tekno? haha. Had to throw it out there since you left the door open. I cant wait to see one of these buggies and buy one.

- a bit off topic. It's not actually what it sounds like. It comes from years ago playing fantasy football. I think three or four years in a row having Jerry Rice on my team. Everyone knew who i would be drafting...

Now back on topic. I'm in the process of laying paint down the production sample body. This body is very cool! Gonna keep the paint simple to highlight the natural flowing lines. Should be done in sometime today (Mother's day so that's a longshot) or tomorrow.

Tekno do we know a better date as to when this will be released? How many are you doing on your first production run? Anymore info will be helpful. Thanks.
