trying to setup my esc for 1/12th pan car i am new to electric rc so i dont understand how to setup the speed control. most of the guys where i would be racing uses either tekin rs,rs pro or lrp so not getting any real help with setup i downloaded some firmware from hw site to the program box but not sure of what i was downloading. so this is what i got running a revtech 17.5 motor with i revtech 6200mah 70c 1s lipo the gearing i just put in to get the car rolling the stock spur gear for crc xi 72 and a 51 pinion. please help with setup. also how do i know if i have the proper updates in the program box for 17.5 motors.

It will get you close.
I am not familiar with the RevTech motor, but if you can, dial as much timing out of the motor has you can. Run a race, dont worry about the speed, then temp the motor. Keep adding timing in 5 deg increments, and until it the motor temp is around 140-160F. You will notice the car getting quicker. From there you can play with Roll out. Anywhere from a 80-90mm would be in the ball park.
I use the newest firmware (V3_930_Stock).

Just got my Reedy 21.5T, i guess i need help with the setup, the track is very small and very tech, outside i have a Xtreme stock esc , from what i have read people have stated the reedy is very smooth therefore i need punch, fdr 5-7?
i am running a 416X outof the box setup, my back ground is 540 and F1 running (you guessed it 540) any help would be great thanks

Hi guys
Running an xerun 120a in my Durango short course truck with a tekin pro4 3300kv. When I have the sensor wire connected, the car will only move when I push start it forward. Otherwise it does not respond to throttle input.
If I disconnect the sensor, then it drives normal, but feels like I lose the punch I'm used to.
Any thoughts?
