looking forward to what you come up with. I almost feel ashamed I haven't had time to install your gear into my SC10 4x4 .

I'm leaning toward the Tekin Pro 4 since it seems to be the popular choice, but do you guys recommend a 4000kv or 4600kv? I was going to order the 4600kv since I thought I could just dial down the power but I've been reading some people prefer the 4000kv. I'd also need an ESC - I was looking at the Hobbywing 120A (have on in my onroad car, no problems so far) or a Tekin RX8. Is the RX8 worth the extra cash?

Any tips would be appreciated, I'm approaching the end of the build and need some electronics!
The Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro if the sale is still going on is a great little ESC for the money. Its my new go to ESC for the price where the MMP was previously. Heck, if it could do more than 2S I would use it for my 1/8 scale too.

Can tell you my Sc10 with the VTS accelerates very smooth & goes into the corner just as smooth.
No wheel spin & great traction....
Great. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

The 4000 definitely pulls hard for sure. A great all around motor.

Should defiantly be the biggest SC race in the NW this year.

Never have a problem with enough motor. Murfdogg will be motored up for this event for sure.

Send it over here and let me set it up. If you don't like it when you get done, we can put it to an appropriate death.

I have the outerwares for the sc104x4 and it fits nice, but I noticed that it may let air in but also seems to hold the hot air from the motor and esc in. My temps def went up when using it.

can anyone confirm that the avid rear C hub risers work on this truck? I want to follow what the others are doing but no one is mass producing them specifically for this truck yet.

Did anyone have issues with the Factory Team front and rear transmissions being stiff? Both mine don't turn very freely after I assembled the cases and screwed them together. Seems like the gears are binding bit inside.

Just wondering if anyone else had this issue

Thanks

8mm is just right , helps stop the CDA's from hitting out-drives on hard landings...

After working on my original truck and then building the ft kit the ft did feel stiff. Even after backing the case screws out. After one pack it went back to a normal feel.
