There's definitely no MF3.
Everyone - Thanks for the help answering questions.
Tyler - You have a PM back.
uno - You can try shortening your front camber link. A little more negative camber, or taking out a washer on the front bulkhead will give you more steering.
Soft suspension will help the truck turn, but can make the front end feel very wandery when landing off of jumps.
Chris - Glad it worked! Again, a shorter front camber link will give you more steering.
nitro kid - I don't know exactly how fast it will go, but it won't accelerate very fast. It sounds like it might be a little too high for a 19 turn motor.
losifromhell - Thanks!
mafia - You have a PM back.
goodez - Personally, I'd use a Monster. Gear your P2K2 at 20/81 to start.

to aaron or anyone else that has input
i currently run silver springs up front, and its wonderful for soft and extremely bumpy tracks, but i lose some high speed steering because the front end doesnt recover fast enough. im not sure what the current shock oil wt is in the shocks, but im thinking about replacing the front springs only with blues, and doing 40wt oil in all 4 shocks to help keep the fronts on the ground. what would you recommend as a front shock setup?
i mainly race fine gravel with some (but not much) jumps and the local BMX track. i dont spend too much time at the RC track, but i want a setup that will work well there, too. thx guys

beetlebz - I'd check www.rc10.com for some suggested RC10GT setups. 40 wt. sounds a little heavy, regardless of what springs you use. You might want to try smaller pistons and thinner oil, and stay with silver springs.
Tambok - Why didn't you come up and say hi?!
I ended up 4th after the 45 minute main. I didn't make a very important adjustment that I should have thought of before the race, and my truck was accordingly a little harder to drive than it should have been. Adam did get the job done however and will retain his #1 plates. I secured #3 for next year!

Hey Aaron,
I have a question for you.
many people talk about not going down in nitro %.
Like its not good to go from 25% nitro to 20% nitro.
But It would be ok to go up, like from 20% to 25%.
Is this true,
If true, why is it like that ?

XXXNT Servos
So Aaron, for my XXXNT I have two spare servos laying around...
an Airtronics 94357 (125oz .09sec) and an Airtronics 94258 (145oz .09 sec)
Which would be good for throttle and which for steering?
Also, what's the deal with Drake running the MF2 arms in the front...is it a pure swap out or does it need any mods????
Thanks

Tambok - I'm never too busy to say hi to someone! But yeah..I was pretty swamped all weekend..haha.
venganceballa - Four seconds is fine. It's when it's above ten that it becomes a problem (I assume you're talking about pinching the fuel line to check the LSN).
beetlebz - That wasn't a bad guess then!
nutfluff - Both of those will be GREAT for steering, but big time overkill for throttle. I currently use a 357 in my trucks. I use a 94737 for throttle, so you might want to look into that, and keep the 258 for a backup.
snikkari - The only reason that would be harmful to an engine is if you didn't re-tune your engine, it is going to run hotter than it did with 30%. After you re-tune your engine, there is nothing that will harm your motor when going to a lower nitro content.
