Unfortunatelly funds are low so I won't make it. Stupid supervisor didn't turn in my expense reports so I'm brokey broke till next week.

Truck runs good now, very enjoyable to drive. Where do you usually run?

Do you ever run in club races in Central Fla area?

What is the difference in the FT shock tower that comes with the upgrade kit? It looks the same to me as the old one...

The FT kit also has 12mm long ball studs that come in the kit for the front. You can move them to the rear to use with the raised rear tab. The original kit only has 10mm long studs front and rear. You can use up to 5mm under the 10mm stud and still have it thread into the oval thread insert all the way. You will need the 12mm ball to go up to 7mm.

Therefore I decided to do it a different way, and I will pm Marcus and see how he feels about it. If he feels one set is going to hurt his business then I will cancel it. And yes he was kind enough to send me an extra set, as I was kind enough to send him my setup as well for him to make it. I do appreciate everything Marcus has done for the SC10 as well as other rc's so I will leave it up to him. I see it as helping him however, the more people that know and have it the more people there is to put the word out about his products in which I have done on many forums as well as my local track............... Damn I try to be a nice guy and this is what I get..........

BTW: I know these are test pieces which is why I was going to wait a week. By then all the testing should be done. Anyhow I sent Marcus a pm and I'll leave it up to him...............
PM answered, it is taken care of, lets move on.

But the way I see it, by you giving away the extra set that's like taking a sale out of his pocket.

Hey Marcus, any chance you can get away for a race weekend at the beginning of August? Should be a blast, and would love to meet the man in person.

That's why someone came up with the saying "no good deed goes unpunished" and "no more Mr. Nice Guy".

I got my SC10 kit today and started on it. It occurred to me that I do not know what "regular" maintenance is going to be. Is there a link somewhere to a thread or other reference that would outline what needs to be done and at what intervals please? I am looking for something fairly specific so I can keep this puppy running top notch!

Vito, they work great! Depending upon how much traction the asphalt has you may have problems with traction rolling. Make sure you are using the fatty swaybars and a heavy rear spring. If you do have traction rolling issues add 5mm or so of spacers under inner ball studs. If you still have issues add 4 to 6mm of spacers on the shock shaft inside the body to limit how far it can extend. Fuel tubing works well for this. Ran this setup with Street Fighters on blacktop treated with soda (tons of traction) and I was untouchable.
