Can you convert a rc8be convert rc82.e?

I notice that a hardcase 4S pack stands pretty tall in the tray....Does anybody know if the original RC8Be body will install without complications with this type of battery pack?

you don't even need that much kv, 19t pinion on a 1900kv is enough to pull'em down the straights.

Will 8.2 e bodies fit the original rc8be? If so, which ones?

yes 4s will fit under the stocker body
yes the 8.2 body will fit the 8be

All the bodies for the "e" cars work. The only one I had probe with was the new ftw. But it is made for the nitro cars. But really all you have to do is raise the body mounts a bit. I had to install the front mount as I don't even ever use it. Just velcro usually

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone is running the truggy wheels on the rear of their buggies? Reason I ask is that I find the buggy very easy to flip in turns and was thinking of my B44 which has wider rear tires than the fronts.

No. At what point in the turn is it flipping, traction rolling?

Im just running on pavement now so I'm sure that's part of it. Is there an adjustable shock option somewhere that would lower the car?

Tires are gonna be a big part of the equation. If you can get some slicks for pavement would be best. As for set up, I can't speak for others, and I don't know if this is the right choice, but I usually use droop to control traction rolling.

So how can I droop the chassis more?

Perhaps try laying your shocks over as far as you can. Outer hole on the ARM and inner most on the tower. Are you using dirt tires on the road or street tires? Ofna makes a nice treaded road tire, as well as slicks. Any testing I do at home, and need to drive, I drop my Ofna road tires and have a go. Def saves my dirt tires. Haven't ever really traction rolled, but then I'm usually just making lazy 8s or speed passes.

I just recently switched out my LRP SPX8 on my RC8Be for an LRP iX8. I configured the new iX8 but whenever I pull the trigger on my transmitter, my motor just makes a squeeling sound and the gears don't rotate. Anyone know what the problem is?

Perhaps a loose pinion?

@Momo, thanks for the suggestions, I will try that and see what happens. I am using the stock dirt tires and just wearing them out until I can put something else on.
