Why would you want the new plastic? The older plastic is much better with it being stiffer. If I were you I would run the older chassis

You can get carbon parts for the truck :-)

greg, what you need to do is go on ebay and find the people that are parting out new .1 kits. Only way to get then currently. I have bought 2 chassis this way. I pm'ed you the link to the auction on the nitro series forum.

I recently assembled a t4.1ft kit and the steering rack was binding up on the front brace above the bulk head. I bought a new servo saver assembly and it worked fine any ideas?

You sure the ackermann was turned the right way?

The two screws that hold the steering rack onto the upper plate can't be over tightened. I always tighten them until the rack won't flop back and forth on its own and then loosen it a touch. Is it possible you over tightened them?

Yes the ackermann plate was installed correctly And I tighten the screws down the same way. I put it in my b4.1 and it does the same thing I Just don't know if it was a bad mold or if someone else has had this problem with the newer kits?

I had a similar issue when rebuilding my front end with new parts last week. Once I had all the screws holding the top plate down all tight the issue was gone. The top plate was a little tweaked out of the package but straightened out once screwed down to the chassis and no rubbing or binding in the steering.

Does anybody here know if a complete t4 diff assembly will work in a t4.1 transmission? Thanks,
