greg, what you need to do is go on ebay and find the people that are parting out new .1 kits. Only way to get then currently. I have bought 2 chassis this way. I pm'ed you the link to the auction on the nitro series forum.

The two screws that hold the steering rack onto the upper plate can't be over tightened. I always tighten them until the rack won't flop back and forth on its own and then loosen it a touch. Is it possible you over tightened them?

Yes the ackermann plate was installed correctly And I tighten the screws down the same way. I put it in my b4.1 and it does the same thing I Just don't know if it was a bad mold or if someone else has had this problem with the newer kits?

I had a similar issue when rebuilding my front end with new parts last week. Once I had all the screws holding the top plate down all tight the issue was gone. The top plate was a little tweaked out of the package but straightened out once screwed down to the chassis and no rubbing or binding in the steering.
