I had the same problem on a hyper 10sc w/ STRC hubs. the problem was the inside had gotten scuffed up & wouldnt allow the bearing to seat completely flat. so, check you hubs for ANY deformation on the inside & make sure you seat the bearings completely & flat when reinstalling them.

If you check out blogs . jconcepts .net there is a picute of one of their cars from the weekend not sure which, do you know if those springs are AE prototype or are they some other brand? (sorry dont have enough posts to post the link)
i am curious to know so I can match to the closest AE spring if possible.

OK, so I have looked through this thread pretty heavily and can't find my answer. I am upgrading my B4.1 to the ball dif. I have changed out the tranny case and gotten the proper bearings and all that. Anyway, will the stock dogbones work at all or am I going to have to go on and get the upgraded CVD's?
so I'm looking for some serrated wheel nuts for my b4.1,i know jconcepts makes them but 4 for 15 bucks is crazy, anyone know where else i can get some?would love to find them in black or blue
I just changed my B4 (not B4.1) setup from training to inline axle as I was experiencing way too much push when exiting corners unless i slowed right down, which really effects lap times. The inline axle setup is much better in and out of corners, however i am finding it quite unstable on the straights.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can change to get more control/stability on the straight with the inline axle setup?
Also, on a different issue. I seem to keep stripping the inner small ballbearings (3977) in my rear 0.5 aluminium hub carriers. They are wearing out on the inner side. I clean and lube then (as with all my bearings) very often. Has anyone had this same issue? Any suggestions how I can stop these bearings from wearing out so quickly?

as far as your bearing, is it possible you have smacked the back wheels against the tube/wall, it is very commong for the smaller bearings to break apart from crashes.

The finish on the Jconcepts comes off fairly quickly. Pretty much the case with any anodized wheel nut. I prefer plain old aluminum -
