Barrett you should really chill out........ This thread isn't about who the fastest or best driver is, its about the sc10 4x4 etc etc..........

Seriously you have contributed nothing to this thread but negativity and useless comments, who cares if WC is a great driver. This hobby is supposed to be about having fun and helping others out. If your not here for that or to post up about the sc10 4x4 then simply stay off this thread.............

Symm. just give up its not worth it, obviously they get an ego boost by going back n forth about whos the better driver etc etc.........

OOh,, i got to try out the new pressure points and 3ds, and they were awesome!
Yea I really like the pressure points in situations where I would want to run slicks but can't due to rules.

Last race I switched from green barcodes to super soft rebars. I think my bardcodes have just gotten worn out from too much sauce and 4-pole power and felt like marshmallows compared to the new rebars. Didn't have quite as much grip on the smooth clay, but worked better for me since I could rotate a little better.

The truck was pretty good, but it did have an issue with mule kicking the back end into the air off most of the jumps. I think the shock oil needs changed, but not sure whether to change the front or the rear for this issue. I also am not sure what weight oil is even in there from the box anyhow. So any help would be great there. You wouldn't believe the number of times I crashed to this, lol.

Also, anyone have much luck with the dual stage shock pistons? That sounds like one of the greatest ideas that has come to rc in a long time!
What springs you running in the rear? Also, you sure it's kicking and not diving once air born? If you haven't done a lot of 4x4 driving you have to get used to holding a little throttle while in air or it will dive due to drive train drag.

I've thought about jumping ship to Losi after one of our local fast guys did. Last race he was running a good half second faster than the fastest ebuggy. He recently switched from AE because he said he couldn't perform with it, but he was whipping everyone ass then too. Didn't get a chance to talk with him further, so not sure what mods he tried before switching.

So i have had my sc10 4x4 for a couple months and am just putting electronics in now. No upgrades just the first kit verison. I run on high bite clay indoor.
I was thinking swaybars and maybe a clutch basket and the flex bar that goes through the center.
Not sure if i should change the shocks from the bladder to emulsion. Guys at my track run emulsion style with no boot and some kind of losi low friction o ring i think.

Any advice? Ive only ran 2 wheel frive never ran 4. Guess its a whole nother ball game.

I am fairly certain that I am familiar with the charateristics of 4wd. I thought that might have been the issue too but I even tried to debunk that by rolling up to the jumps at half throttle and throttling up the face of the jump, reserving full throttle for the moment it becomes airborne. Still the same effect with it nosing over.

I haven't changed the suspension setup from the kit setup with the exception of swaybars. However, I highly doubt that swaybars would affect this small issue.

Maybe too the shock rebound is too fast? You could bump up the weight of the shock oil and see how that does. You could also lower the ride height which will decrease the preload.

Pink trucks look good out in front IMO. Here is my new Ft making its debut.
Go easy on me guys, as it's my first time piloting a 4x4 anything!

I am assuming for the rear shocks, correct?

Yes. It's starting point. Start ruling out things one by one. Does the rear chassis hit the face of the jump when going up? That will cause it.

I am looking for a new tire for outdoor running on our private track in Oregon. My truck is pretty good indoor. Any suggestions? Its usually loamy and moist and sometimes a little dry. Step pins are the best 1/10th scale 2wd tire hands down at our play so i am looking for its equivalent for outdoor. TIA I would like some strong wheel recommends too.
