get the 2 ways for sure. what springs/oil u running? center diff? exotek? saddles?

just got my up grade kit in took some work.

Hi recently I took apart the slipper clutch to put in the 19 tooth rear pulley. I did that succesfuly. However very time I even put on the tiniest bit of throttle the slipper pads fall off and stuff up the drive. Do you even need the slipper pads and if you do how do you get them on properly?

Does it push? Do you like the way it drives? What do you want it to do?

It is very loose and gets tossed around by the bumps.

Why did you put that on the rear? I'd go with a center diff from rcshox or a clutch basket or FT slipper setup.

I have a regular balance lead for a stick battery...each battery has a positive and negative with no balance port...so for the balance leads do I run them into the + - that the jumper wire is also ran into?

I just finished my ft kit.... I'm have a reedy sonic 550 4.5...the spur is a 62...any suggestions on a pinion...our new track was done today..it looks very long with big banked corners...I've heard anywhere between 24 and 12...that's a big range!!

Like you I took off the sway bars on our loose bumpy outdoor track, I run 1.3 shock pistons with 25wt front oil, 20 rear. Truck works thru the ruts on the track great.

Is there advantage to running STRC pulley?

so when my antenna ripped out last week and was causing my car to cut out i bought a new reciever...the same one that was already in the car (TRS401ss 4ch reciever) i hooked everything up and when i turn my car on i hear everything start up, but when i turn on my remote nothing happens, no beeping noises or anything. is there some way that this new reciever needs to be synched to the remote or what do i need to do to get this running again?

I can relate. The kid that won the last 4x4 main that I was in thermalled in the air on the jump just AFTER the timing loop. 10 seconds sooner and it would have been lights out for him.

the slipper pads provide the grip that actually drives your truck...so yes, you need them. if they are slipping out of the keyed section that the seat into on the spur, then you're probably letting them fall out when you install the slipper. Turn your truck on it's right side (so that the top shafts are pointing down) and let gravity hold the inside pad in place while you slide the spur onto the shaft.

Alternatively, get the RCShox Garodiscs. Mine fit SO perfectly into my spur gear that they essentially snapped into place and WILL not fall out...even when tapping on the backside of the spur.
