I have sold many units now and the customer has come back and said to me wow you were right it is 120% different and basically new from the ground up and the features of the software and the hardware no other esc in the world has .

No, they don't, as there is no way any motor would work adding an actual 64degrees of timing.
Technically, the should be boost steps, but the phrasing gets a little muddled.

Bare in mind, HW aren't the only company who do this too..

The "whos"??? In Europe no one knows who they are, no one drives dirt off road, and no one buys things because they run them

We all know who Andy Moore is, Touring Car and 12th ace, and if we want to buy our off-road electric stuff we follow Neil Cragg and Lee Martin.

Just to twist the knife while I have it in there, we don't buy what the Americans run in electric track because an American hasn't won an IFMAR Electric Track WC since Mike Swauger won Pro-10 in 1996!!

so i got to hit the track sooner than expected.

im impressed with the v3 vs my v2.1

never woulda guessed it, but i would have to say its smoother.

with the custom throttle profile, it made my 17.5 nt buggy drive much smoother and punchier. i normally run positive expo on throttle using my tx(m11x) to account for the gutless 17.5s. but using the profile on the speedo, it was much smoother than using expo on my tx.

im happy with my speedo, no regrets here. when it becomes more widely available imma get one for my SC 4x4

Well if the new stuff is too pricy and you do not like it you can always buy the older generation for a cheap price still. No need to jump on the new band waggon if you do not feel like it.

Nailed it

Looking forward to seeing how he does in the BRCA nationals this year, which is now 10.5 boosted so a true test of motor and esc power.

Interesting that they changed blinky back to dynamic timing esc, I presume you mean the tc class? Can you enlighten me why they changed it? I am not into blinky but just curious the reasoning behind the switch.

Your confusing the 1/12 nationals with the TC Nationals.

Modified was dropped for our touring car nationals, so instead of modified/10.5pro stock class, it is now one class of 10.5 boosted, never was blinky.

Back on topic...

I know this thread is in the electric onroad forum but I am following it primarily because this is where hobbywing seems to mostly inhabit.
Offroad, bluntly, is far more popular in the rc world than onroad globally(I think...don't shoot me if I'm wrong). In North America it's not even close. I realize in Europe onroad is extremely popular.
I wish onroad was more popular...I used to love racing 1/12th scale when I used to 20 years ago
