So are you guys doing front springs in the rear to get the higher spring rates or is there an advantage to running shorter springs?

You can use the clips that come with the kit for limiting shock travel. The little tab will line up in the slot on the lower spring retainer.

Yes.

In this case, longer is always better. Beggars can't be choosers.

Working like a charm for me. Now I just need some time to complete my center battery pack setup. Was thinking out of the box by making a snap in tray, but going a bit more conventional with angle aluminum and Standoffs.

Thank you gentlemen for all the support and ideas!!

If the battery IS about 6.6v and takes 6000mHa or more, well...you have a problem with the motor. I'm not sure how you take that much current out of the truck in seven minutes by any other means. I'm not even sure how you get that much current through the drivetrain period.
So I drove charged the batteries after a run yesterday. They are starting off at 4.20v but are still taking almost 4900 mAh. that was after around 9 minuts of run time with a few crashes that I had to go and fix my truck.

When your saying it could be a problem with the motor, could it be the timing I have in it that could be playing a part in this whole thing? It's a reedy sonic 550 4.5 with 10 degrees of advanced timing.

Default shocks

quick question,so if im running emulsion style on the ft shocks,do i still need to run any bladders in the caps, because i noticed they didnt come with any o rings for the caps, and could this be the cause for my shocks leaking?.....i have checked all the assembley and my seals, everything else is good but they leak all the oil out,and i cant tell if the oil is coming from the top or bottom

also, someone was saying to get An rx8 and pro4 and my runtimes should get better. Any truth to that do you think?

Does anyone know if the new battery tray for the factory team 4x4 will fit on the exotek chassis?

I'm confused. They are 4.2v per cell or is that the pack voltage? Because 4.2v per cell is close to fully charged. At 4.2v for the whole pack, yowza - that's way too low. The lipo shutoff should be about 6.6v.

Might be. Do you have the timing in on the speed control or is it on the motor?

If it mounts to all the stock hole locations, and I am assuming the exotek has all those as well, I don't see why not.

4.2 per pack. I am charging them seperatly as 1s, not "saddled" I have never used 1s batteries, should they still be at 4.2 and taking 4500mAh back in charge?

timing is on the motor. speedo is lrp sxx tc spec v2 with 3.0 update and the following profile: 1-0-0-0.
