Don't know about AKA but my understanding is that DE Racing is making a 3mm offset wheel for the SC10 4x.
This is the same offset as the JC hazard wheel.
Don't think it is available as of yet though.

I gotta say Mantis did a good job setting me up!

Truck is so much easier to drive. I love pulling the trigger on the straight!

I don't know why some of you guys have problems pitching the nose down, my truck would over rotate and somersault LOL.

The only thing I did which helped really good was add a 2mm shim to the rear camber link that gave me that extra traction I needed.

I may bump up the rear shock fluid up to 22.5 or 25 not sure, I did hear it chassis slap.

The rc shox pistons definitely do a good job rebounding, they work great.

I didn't even have the right tires on the front and my truck was very fun to drive.

the only problem I had was with my RX8. I was running good all day then it would cut out, it wasn't overtemping , all the led's were blinking and I would have to power. eventually it came back but it kept cutting out on me which is annoying.

overall very happy with truck now, glad I kept it. can't wait to run it on a better prepped track.
+1 to the Mantis setup. I copied it from the rcshox thread other than 5k front & rear diff, then 30f 27.5r shock oil since I personally like mine with a little more dampening.

I love running on loose stuff with the proline bandlands tires. I love roosting around the track like 1:1 trucks. I would like to run on a track meant to be scale SCT with lower smoother bumps and lots of loamy sweepers to power drift around.

May not win you point with the "pro style" drivers but sure is a lot of fun.

If it were my choice I'd go with the 3800kv castle, even though its not sensored it has gobs of power (to be honest I never noticed any cogging when I had it on my sc10)....... However for gearing I would go with a 15 or 16 for the castle and 12 to 13 for the lrp, just monitor temps and go from there......

The upgrade kit is the same price so it doesnt really make a difference, V2 is not the same price, the upgrade kit equals out.

so im re building my front diff, and when i put the transmission case back together, i can spin it by hand and there is a pretty significant tight spot in the assembly. It spins free with one side of the tranny case off (not that it means anything since the gears are un supported) and there is no damage to any of the gears. Im stumped on this one. Anyone out there have any ideas of what it could be?

Want to also thank Marcus for an excellent setup. I ran my truck thru about 10 packs today with center balldif, v2 pistons, and ackbar and his setup. truck is easy to drive, smooth, and actually jumps better. On a 1/8 track with a 30 foot triple I was able to clear it and most of the time control attitude with throttle and brake (except for a few driver errors). I was also able to control my Tekin 4600 thru the turns and down the straights. Thanks Marcus for answering all my setup questions last week on setup. Only one problem now, I can't drive my backup truck anymore as doesn't have the rc shox parts.

How many mAH did the batteries take when you recharged them? What was the start voltage?

Are they new gears? I had that problem and it was a burr.

I just ran mine in and checked it after one pack, it had freed up nicely as the tranny gears bedded in.
