LOL, tbh, my LRP motor doesn't really get hot at all. But then again, it is winter and I am only running 2wd mod. Currently, only motors I would switch to are Reedy. I'm sure there are alot of great motors out there, but I when I chose my motor, Reedy and LRP were choice 1 and 1A.

Yea I dont have any long packs so I was wondering if it will be worth my time to buy some and try them or to keep on truckign with the shortys.

What setup changes, if any had everyone made since changing to the +8mm chassis?
I've just fitted mine and wondered if springs and oils should stay roughly the same as before.

Got my B4.1 8mm chassis kit today and want to know if I can use my reg. body until I get the new one painted. Will it be way 2 small or can I get by for a few days?

It's killing me to convert my buggy...

Hey guys, thinking I'm going to order the worlds. car tonight, I would like to order a gear diff to run in it. Are there any other parts I need to order other than the diff.
If I get the 22 shock cups and ghea shock colors that's all I need to run bb springs correct.

I know Tekin is quality and very tunable, but I am trying to avoid needing a PC to work on it. That's why i loved LRP.

Thoughts...opinions?
I love my tekin. I use my laptop to tune it, but it doesn't have to be that way. You can do everything you need to from the esc. The computer software just allows you to make adjustments in smaller increments.

everything i say about the hobbywing is applicable to the orion. from comparing the 2, the orion has a way better and nicer case, billet aluminum and the quality is a touch better.

i have/had a LRP SXX V2 TC Spec, its my backup ESC to my Hobbywing Xerun v2.1 if that gives u any indication.

the hobbywing is as smooth if not smoother than the LRP. the ease of use will make u chose the hobbywing.

with the program lcd u can make ALL your adjustments super easily. the only time u need to connect the thing to a computer for is to change firmware and create the custom profiles. u can save custom profiles and select them with the programmer. im too lazy for that and i just change my settings until i like it, then when im connected to the computer the next time, ill save that profile as a base setup.

MR. BARRY....

MAN DO I HEAR YOU ON THE RUN OF CRAPPY LUCK AS U ALREADY NO!!!...lol honestly havent heard to much about viper... i NO davey g runs themmaybe shoot him a email.. but then acourse ull get the normal team driver answer likes what expect... We both agree on one thing we talked about.. The special feature.. the badass feature which seems that orion always had just how they market and advertise.... tekin i ran for them when i was on losi.. never ran them in offroad just tc and 1/12 and i know the adjustments u can do on the speedo itself with out the hotwire,, welll its really hard.... but with alot of experince and rying and understand and reading over and over info once u get the adjustments down on the hot wire its amzing.... butlike u said all about the pc thing... there was rumor of the phone apps for it but that went south... the lrp i will say has been good to confused with the me i have ruined some i can take blame for 1 or 2 1 i put the pos inthe neg in my 1/12 and smoked er.... and the other well im all about shorting wires and making everything stealth who knowsi might of made a short.. but some just did some weird thing.. happen after i had the beta software.... so i might have been my fault also prob got h the confused with the adjustment

Mr BARRY... if u run the right gear an timing the lrp u have is a perfect motor special with the 2 rotors u have.. And that can be said about any brand... of course im byus to REEDY/LRP now but i was alllll TRINITY and u and chassis slapper/and mr perk can back that and never failed me.... but then again when u have the guru of all gurus best of best motor wrapers who knows more then big jim /dieter/mike reedy... handing u motors... how can u say no..lol or should i say how can the radio shack sodder explode!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY BIG WINS THAT SOB COST ME>>> i have night mares some nights about it...allof a sudden u hear ur on t pace over matt franics in 4wd mod with 30 sec left.. going on the striaght and POWWWWWWWW there goes the wrap!!!lolol live u learn.... he wasnt to happen that day i walked over to dieter and he handed me a d4 to use... and on sunday mod day same and even gavehis batts to mills!!!...and bluebird servo and speedo..lol good weeke for me after that... 3rd mod buggy behind matt francis/chad phillips/tq won nitro truck/won mod truck!

I've ALWAYS been a card carrying Orion Fanboy dating back 10 years and thought it might be cool to check out one. Then heard that HobbyWing makes em and costs half the price..... then someone mentions Viper.........

DAMN ALL OF YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND OPINIONS

If I don't find what I want, EXACTLY what I want, I will just grab another LRP.

You can get by on your old body. I had to do the same thing while my new Finnisher body for the +8mm chassis was being painted. It works fine, just doesn't fit perfect.
