I would like to know, is there anything specific that could be a worry on the SC10 for a somewhat beginner, it isn't my first truck, I have a Slash 4x4, but would be my first proper race truck and I would like to know if I should be weary of something in particular.
Cheers guys, have fun racing.
If you can handle a slash 4x4 you should be fine, just get used to not needing as many spare parts

Looking for ideas...I'm fighting an on power push...

Home track has currently switched to a new layout, track is 100' x 45'. Essentially its straightaway, jump, 180 turn, straightaway, jump, 180 turn, ad nauseum...

I'm running an exotek chassis with saddle pack's, and the RCshox center diff & pistons.

Setup is Kody's latest from Trackside with F/R diff's being 5k and I'm using a 2.0 mm sway bar up front...3/2 block...

Truck is good, but not great, local hot shoe in a Losi is eating me up in these 180's...I'm better in than he is, but he drives right bye me middle out of corner, I've got some ideas where I need to go but I'm looking for suggestions.

3-3 block, 1mm under rear camber link, 1 notch shorter on the rear camber link. this allows you to rotate before the apex and will give you better drive on exit. I am now discovering that alot of this on power push is coming from the rotation of the motor........ more on this later.

I run my belt ridiculously loose.

Truck is not over driven, but the center diff does make it almost feel that way at times.

Diff's were just recently rebuilt so I want to try a few small things before doing something that drastic...

Have you tried playing with the front droop at all? Kody's setup calls for the front shock eyelets to be turned out 2 turns, I was going to start there by turning them back in to limit some of the weight transfer...

I have 2mm spacers under the front pistons.

Had my first big race with exotek and saddle conversion, only fighting one problem.... belt skip... like to where i hear sounds from accross outdoor track that make me think it's about to snap in half.

i know i could be faster if i wasn't so afraid to pull throttle aggressively.

i am running mtk clutch basket, exotek with saddle conversion, strc tensioner pulleys. other than that drivetrain stock.

i run tensioners on 2 front and back, clicker locked, how do i get rid of belt skip?

Mantis, trying to learn what does each of these adjustments do:
3-3 block
1mm under rear camber link
1notch shorter on rear camber (don't understand)
