If you run the standard chasis put this setup on your car:

If you run the +8, run this setup:

There was some talk about the +8 chassis a few posts ago, Whats everyones take on it for tight, indoor smooth tracks. I would think a longer car would be harder to whip around the turns?

Just got my Worlds kit completed and up and running. Switching over from a 22 that has been working really well for me. Made the jump because everytime I drove my buddies B4 I liked it more than my 22

I will be doing some testing tomorrow on it.

Tekin RS for esc, and motor really depends on what class your running. I personally run a 10.5t and with a little timing, my car is easily just as fast as the guys running 8.5s at my local track. Really comes down to preference of what your trying to do.

On a side note, today was my local tracks point series race, and I raced yesterday too. For the last half of yesterday and the first half of today, I had to switch back to the normal spring set-up, except I was using Kyosho Yellows in the front, and then the rest of the day the Losi BB springs(i had snapped 2 front shocks, and had to borrow from my dads ride because the track shop didnt have them, until my dad was able to take a ride to the actual hobby shop mid-race day.) i CANT decide, my fastest lap was with the kyoshos by 4 tenths of a sec versus the BB springs. However the track was freshly sprayed and the car was basically glued. I need to do some more testing, I don't dislike the BBs but I am trying to find what handles the best. The kyosho yellows were pretty nice though.

just bought a whole new diff, rebuilt it 4 times and i feel the balls moving against the rings, i greased it a lot on each side of the rings and the main gear, it feels like the balls need to wear in?

Its not even gritty just catches each ball kinda.. Weird i usually built mint diffs which last a long time.

The negative needs to be in the solution and positive on the turnbuckle, then you should be good.

First day driving my B4.1WC and I am 2 seconds faster than what I was with my 22. I have had 3 buggies in the last couple of months. I started with the Durango DEX210 this buggy felt really good my lap times were low 24's - high 23's, the stock body is nice, what I disliked about the car was part availability and the car in not the easiest to work on if pressed for time. I sold it because I was curious about the 22. I spent the last 3 weeks driving the Losi 22, lap times were high 24's - low 25's I tried a bunch of setups, could never get the the car to be stable and smooth like the Durango. I sold the buggy this week. Today I was able to get into the low 22's-23's with my B4.1WC, I never came close to that in either the Losi or Durango. The transponder and times don't lie. B4.1WC hands down a faster car.
This is for everyone not sure on which car to buy.
The fast stock guys that pretty much sleep at the track times average 21.8's. Do yourself a favor and get the B4.1WC. I hope this was helpful for those not so sure or curious.

Hey guys I recently acquired a B4.1 and added a couple things to make it more race worthy like a futaba 4pl transmitter/receiver and s3305 servo, aluminum bulkhead, 8mm chassis and jconcept bar codes w/ groovies up front. I'm trying to figure out which modifications are most beneficial on the race track. I want to buy FT parts but they are ridiculously priced, are there any other options out there ? I want to get:

ball diff
better shocks
aluminum caster blocks

Thanks for any help.
