+1 Definately better performance. My son ws running +8 and broke the chassis before a big race, had to use the short one on race day, and was lost on setup, until I went to Cavs old b4 short setup. The +8 definately helps the overall handling.

So whats the deal with the ghea pistons, I hear so much talk about. People using 1,2,or 3 with tapered or flat gheas, and using along with big bores? What about the v1 spacers? Hear alot of things are working, just trying to get some opinions, as we will be changing to v2's as soon as they get here. Still running v1,s. Lol.

If anyone is looking for a set of B4.1 V2 shocks I just listed some. They are straight out of my new Worlds kit still sealed in the bags. Here's a link to my ad:

Finally had some dry weather and got the B4 dirty today.

I took advice from a few of you guys and settled on a setup that seems to work really well (as long as the groove stays fluff free).

Front:

#3 piston BOTH holes drilled with #55 bit (basically a smaller holed #2 piston), 30wt oil.
Brown spring, middle top, outer arm.

Rear:

#2 piston with ONE hole drilled with #54 bit, 30wt oil, one .030 limiter.
Green spring, in tower, in arm.

I found an OLD pair of M2 Proline WIDEBODY fronts... reclaimed them and put them on new rims. Theyre perfect for our track. Same rears for comparative purposes to the previous setup.

I ran the battery back, added the weight i made...

... and the buggy is freekin planted and jumps like a starved cheetah.

I made a bunch of other changes too... but these are the most notable compared to my prevous setup.

I didnt get to make adjustments to the speedo (which it needs badly now) as my transmitter took a crap on me in the middle of the last pack... but i look forward to getting to race this weekend. I think the setup will be golden after the speedo changes.

I think it's called the RS Pro. Personally I run LRP and love them. If you go that route, then get the SXX Comp V2

Appreciate all the help you gave. The front end was WAYYY too high, I mounted it up the new tires/wheels, I'm sure it'll feel like an entirely different animal.

I think once I get this dialed in, I might not drive 2wd sct anymore which is fine by me LOL.

Might be getting a new Tekin either tonight or tomorrow. too.

side note: what a p.i.t.a it is to stuff those huge foams in the tires LOL.

glue one side of the bead on the tire without the foam in it, then roll the tire inside-out, put the foam on the wheel, and roll the tire back over the foam.
