now will the losi spring cups and traxxas spring retainer support the kyosho big bore spring?

Use RPM or Traxxas spring retainer, Ae shock eyelets & Kyosho 12m BB spring cups

cherry-my fresh built b4.1 sounds like a meat grinder--is there a known issue with the idler, diff or top shaft gears...seems more noticable during accel..

im just going to stay with the losi till we get more hearing from the kyosho

i had that concern. the trans case bolts were to tight causing drag and resistance. they dont have to be super tight, and a touch of loktite will do the trick where they go into the motor plate

Mine is lound, check mesh, spur and pinion gear. Add some pledge furniture polish in the gears. That helps some.

what spring and chassis did the ryans run at CRCRC? world or std chassis?

I doubt AE drivers will at any point go back to the short car so I would say they ran the Worlds chassis (+8). It's just better...everywhere
