I run a Viper VST17.5T motor in a 13.5T buggy class in blinky mode and I have NO problems running with the 13.5's if not out pull them.
I run 33/72 gearing can timing full adv. per Viper. I come off the track at 130 after 5 mins

I love it
Easy to connect ESC > motor leads to it. I have all black ran to the motor.
It's a very nice size no stickers on it. Cap's are connected very well
Progauge is very easy to hook up and use. also can be used for a bunch of other stuff. I use it to check my batteries for full charge or cell balance also

This is the VTX10 in my B4.1

This is the VTX10R/6.5T in my B44.1

This is what it looks like in the box

I have not had 1 problem with this system.
I am going to be ordering another combo and 2 more motors next pay day

Default 8mm chassis

I am sure this is covered but didn't find it in a search so here goes.

What are the benefits of a 8mm chassis upgrade???

Thanks

How would that make it compare to a 22 or a DEX210, I was in the market for a DEX210 but got a hold of a B4 and am thinking of either keeping it and upgrading to an 8mm chassis or sell it and get a DEX210.

Has anyone compared the 8mm chassis with a 22 or DEX210?

I have drivin buggies before so I know how they handle but I have never pushed them like I have the sc10.
Can anyone help?

I have not compared it. We have a few 22's come to the track. It looks just as long but I can at least fit my electronic in my buggy
I have only seen 2 DEX210's in person and 1 didn't finish the race.

That's where they got their nickname DNF210. Some call it the DNS210.. broke during the warmup lap.

if u have any q's feel free to shoot me a pm, I noticed the viper motors have lots of plain power, really smooth and run cool. Gear em up a bit they have more torque then most.
