no. they are two different things. The one plugged into the receiver is for your servo. The one soldered to the speed control is for the throttle. They both do similar things, but independantly of each other. Make sure you are getting the right kind and putting it in the right spot. And you can't just go by what everyone else says because it's totally dependant on your electronics and what combination of stuff you chose. For me, I have the SXX with it's power cap and then I use a Futaba servo and Spektrum SR3000 rec. That Servo will shut my car off if I don't use a cap on the receiver as well.

I'm sure this was posted before, I've searched and couldn't find a definite answer.

I have a b4.1 rtr brushless. Can I do the Losi bb spring changeover on those?

yes but to be honest, it won't benefit you much. The single biggest upgrade you can make to the car is the +8mm chassis. If you have that, then drive the car the way it is until you feel you have gotten your money's worth out of it and then buy a Worlds Car. It will be cheaper than buying all the stuff you need to upgrade your RTR. If you don't have the +8 chassis, then consider getting it. Figure it will cost you roughly 45 for the conversion and then 20ish for a body. AGAIN... I would put that money towards the new worlds kit first though.

Hope this helps.

Spektrum 6040. I like a fast servo in everything, I'm one of those old carpet guys that wait till the last possible moment to turn. So I need it to react when I say so..

Default Shocks

Hi Guys,

I am about to build the shocks for my new b4.1 Worlds kit, is there anything I should know?

It's my first off road kit and me and shocks don't go well together, I am always struggling on my on road cars.

Thanks

Nathan

Let the O-rings soak in Green Slime for a little while. Pre thread the bleeder screws.

Graves in Orlando sells the crimping tool for servo plugs. I'm sure others sell it as well, i just know Graves does because I almost bought one there.
