No, theres no luck with different layout but the CG gets lower with this layout. And things gets much easier to reach in that area. I have changed some steel parts for aluminum and titan parts. And that together with reducing/cleaning some unnecessary plastic stuff will hopefully put the car in the sub 3,5kg area.

LOL!
Well for starters are you racing indoors or out? If indoors on a packed clay track, start with Chops setup. That's the setup I'm currently running with the exception to 50wt (Losi) in the front shocks and I'm running -2.5° camber in the rear. That's working out real well for me. The tracks I'm racing on right now have high speed sweepers at the end of the straights. This setup gives me just enough rear side bite to maintain a faster speed than the other cars. Give it a try. Also depending on the size of the track use either a 15t or 16t with the 2050. I'm using throttle profile 2 with 10° timing running 60c 2s lipos. Hope this helps.

I'm working on some setups to make the steering feel more linear. At the moment with my current setup, the buggy seems too sensative and a little twitchy at speed. I already played with the steering expo. Anyone have any setups that make the steering feel more linear? Currently running option 3 ackerman and aftermarket alum servo arm with linkage mounted in outside hole on alum servo arm. I'm thinking of moving the linkage in one hole on the servo arm. Any idea? Also, here is a picture of how I mounted my esc. I've been seeing everyone mount their esc with the wires facing the rear of the car. My reason for changing it was so that the esc adjustment buttons and sensor wire are easily accessed on the outside of the buggy. A nice bonus is that the wires form a small shield to perhaps prevent any rocks from getting lodged in the esc fan. I know some of you might think that the wires will prevent air flow, but they are not laying on top of the esc and my fan hardly ever turns on anyway. I haven't seen any increase in heat production.

Awe come on I'll always try something new. The track turned to ice that day and all cars were sliding around. The clay dried out. But like I said 2 pages ago send your shock setup over. I'm always wanting to try new things.
