sold my 4x4 at the end of summer...4x4 bus doesn't fit well on my indoor tracks and prefer to run mod buggy and truck..

FT 4x4 is on BO and will be new summer toy.

So, for those of us who haven't yet scored the FT stuff, the FT kit is a super value.
Right. Every FT is the same way. The FT shocks are 100.00 alone and right there is the cost difference (actually even still a little cheaper)

Ok ill pay and yeah i feel for the mtk guy and yeah i went slower all season.but i wasnt a full on loser and i enjoyed learning about this truck and btw i was grining watching hartson driving a 4 x today i was so amped just that he had a short bus and i had my 2x and was waiting to learn from a pro then im like what motor are u running he is like oh the reedy 550 immm like oooh wait. Then i ran to grab mine and dam he was gone.
Bro, I bet you: My Brace, MTK's basket, Saddle packs, etc. All these mods they snagged from wherever... I'm sure they're great.

But guess what? In the process of designing and running these parts? We have a much better understanding of the Truck and our part than stuff bolted on in a box. Our stuff will perform as well, possibly better than theirs. I'm all for AE and their stuff. But my Brace is no different than theirs. MTK's is actually better than theirs, the 6 saddle pack conversions look better from how the plate sits on the FT.

I mean this with all due respect, really: You waited for no reason, other than sheer stubborness. In my opinion.

Ok, I'm sure this has been discussed, but I don't know where it technically falls.

For SC, I know that lots of folks cut holes to minimize the Parachute effect. Does anyone have pics or can direct me as to where and how i should cut holes in the body? Its the stock body nothing fancy.

MOmo
Go look at a Proline Flotek body or Jconcepts Hiflow bodies and duplicate it's general area. They used Racer input to set the preset holes and cutouts. Cake.

Now , now .....

Been saying the original slipper was the best choice available till now .

The new Slipper should prove to be my favorite for now on ....

Blue boy , I can win and place using the slipper above all those other Sc10 4x4's with the so call "cure" for the old slipper....

Just saying...

FT kit looks nice, but I'm wondering if you can build it ONLY with the saddle packs or if you can still use stick packs. I'm sure the saddle setup is nice buuutt... I have 6 2s stick packs and well frankly, I'm not buying batteries, lol.

Slipper looks really interesting too.

Because the skill level of you and your competition with said inferior slipper mods is in direct correlation to the performance of your broke ass slipper.

(btw, that's a compliment in a sense)

You'll have to replace the mid chassis piece.

Wow, in reference to the Factory Team kit, you guys should feel vindicated. Can't wait to buy one.

Hrm, that might work then since I'm probably getting the Exotek bit shortly.

More that likely the center chassis will have a running change with the extra holes in it for the saddle pack insert.

But:

The cage holding the saddles is actually molded into the Chassis itself, if you look closely. A stick just won't work right. unless you stuff it.

And yeah, Jeff. If you're getting the Exo, you don't have any problems.

I'm not even in the conversation and I saw that he paid you a compliment saying you are fast despite the slipper's shortcoming.

In the far corner of the saddle pack holder you will see a barrel like part that a screw threads into the holder from the bottom of the chassis. My best guess but the chassis mold would not be changed for saddles. Too much money to tool something for one type of chassis.
