I didnt say i thought it was a BETTER design. haha

Just looking at the 22 and 22t made me envious. Picking up my B4... it just looks a little sad... and in need of a solid AE update.

Buggy is nowhere near dying....

Truck is lower in areas but here in the upper midwest we are seeing SCT starting to decline and resurgence in stadium Truck over the past 6 months.

Agreed though, but Losi was well over due for a new design it's been over a decade since the XXX platform was created.

I guess primarily because tracks are indoor up there? 1/10 2wd truck and buggy are all but dead in my neck of the woods.

Its sad to see what was the glory days of RC RACING forgotten and is now overrun with RTR and SC bash classes.

Lets just say i have been bitten by the RC bug again.. and passion for dirt overwhelms me now.

We have an equal number of indoor and outdoor tracks. We race year round

That's too bad to hear buggy is dead in your area though.

Agreed SCT was good to get people into the hobby, but they didn't teach driving skills by any means

Can't argue the RC bug

Im workin on it. A few people stopped by my pit last weekend and seemed pretty receptive. Hopefully they will be bringing a few more out to run soon.

Im gonna run truggy this coming race day too... hopefully my participation in their fave classes will help promote growth in 1/10 again.

Got my WE B4.1 on order...local classes have gone back to "stock" being 17.5/blinky.

Just grabbed a 17.5 ReVtech, and plan on using a GTB and spare Align DS620 servo I've had laying around. Picking up some gold Barcodes F/R tonight...can't wait...

I've driven my B4.1 and an RB5 and the RB5 was the hands down better handling car. Ya know what this makes me think....

....I need to do more tweaking on my B4!!!!!!

im running the same setup, minus losi springs i lent to someone who when to the crcrc race. It corners perfect. I wish i had those super springs tho, they feel much better and make your car "float"

I cant beleave how many just copy other peoples settings because they dont know what does what to a car..Just because it works for the fast guys..I dont run Cav's set up from the worlds.. I dont run on a track like the worlds track, nor at the same time as the worlds. Hell, i dont even drive like Cav. (im still up the front tho) Knowing how to setup for YOUR driving and TRACK is what every one should be doing.. This shit about i dont have time to test..BS..Make it..

Off my soap box now..

This is true, to an extent. There are simply some setups that make the car work to its potential much more so then others. Prior to the 8mm car the standard setup was RMs Reedy Race setup, this was not only because it proved to be good but because it proved to be good for ALOT of people.

So to justify not running or at least trying those setups on the grounds of you do not run on the same tracks is silly. They may not work the best for you on your track but they make the car work extreamly well and are often a great starting point on most of not all surfaces and conditions.
