This is good for slipper setups but also will tell you if there are other issues. With my truck (on carpet) I can hear the tell-tale grinding noise of the ball diff slipping between the plates on initial take off. Not sure if you have ever had an old MIP tranny, especially the replacement ones for the AE kits, but if you have you know the sound I am talking about. Just to be clear, this is only happening on the carpet where there is more traction than probably anywhere else you will encounter and I am not at all worried about it as this tiny amount of slip will not create enough heat to cause any issues.
Did you flip the washer between the spring and the lock nut? This allows you to fully compress the spring.

You can't really wheelie with the ball dif. When the front wheels start to lift they lose some traction and power is diverted to them and taken from the rear. You don't want to slip a ball diff. It will groove and pit the rings requiring replacement or resurfacing.

AZ that is a bit strange but if you are on carpet it is possible. your not going to have that much traction on any track! interesting though that during testing i left mine loose for an entire race and couldnt hear anything, it just slipped with no sound?? and i am still running the same plates and balls. one thing you can do is install the V2 HD spring and it will put more pressure on the plates.

actualy i just re-read your post, your actually pushing the truck away from you and flooring it?? Lets not do that anymore!! not good for a heavy 4wd truck compared to a lightwieght 2wd buggy!

You also want to make sure that you do not have it set to tight. Also make sure the ball diff assembly is well lubed.

I instinctively hate Balldiffs. (I dunno. They just bug me.) But this one is so easy to get to, so that'll keep me happy. =)

Plans within the month:

Test Exotek over my CoyoteTek Chassis with Reflex Racing Top-plate.
Swap my 1415 for my 1410 to run the Center diff with that cursed 62t spur
Test Saddles over my Stickpacks. (I already know the outcome)
Begin Bash testing the New CoyoteTek FT Chassis Brace: I will get pictures up as soon as "I've" seen the thing. And I'll open orders once again. (you guys waiting are first most obviously.)

Inbetween that I have work, and classes.

If you are planning on eventually getting a new servo, don't assemble the front end yet. There is a lot of disassembly to get to the servo. Trust me.

Not a 100% but I think with airtronics servos you will need an extension wire...
