You should anodize your basket blue lol.
Are there anyways to clearance the basket without a heat gun?

I ground mine, take about half of the material out and it fit. I have ran it for 2 months now and no wear marks on the cover.

take the cartridge back apart

replace X rings & green slime um

install cartridge with the tapered end of cartridge up *


* this step is where most go wrong and will leak if done backwards


BTW never use motor spray on the X-rings as they will only swell & need replacement

I did that however mine leaks through the threads of the gray and black parts.

check the cartridge for damage on the tapered end , if the taper has been crushed , it can leak ...

If they are factory team shocks I found that they have some type of coating on the threads that was causing mine to leak. Took me alot of time with an awl to get it removed. Now no leaking. If they are stockers I never had a problem with leakage.

I've been running the hard coated bodies with the gold shafts and I have had no leaking issues what so ever with my shocks. I liked these shocks so much I run them on my 2wd sc10 as well.

I have the trackstar ones. Much smoother than stock and cheaper too.
